A diffusing function and a lens function are provided on a single surface. Such a structure may be formed from a computer generated hologram including free form regions having a phase shift associated therewith, i.e., the computer generated hologram being shifted within the free form regions by the phase shift relative to the computer generated hologram outside the free form regions. When the computer generated hologram includes zero and .pi. regions, the zero and .pi. regions may be transposed within the free form regions.

Diffusing imager and associated methods

A new and improved multi-purpose fold-down utility tray comprised of an upper panel having a hook and loop type fastener patch secured thereon. A plurality of adhesive strips are secured to the upper panel. The adhesive strips serve to secure the upper panel to a wall or flat surface. A lower panel is hingedly secured to the upper panel. The lower panel has a plurality of recessed compartments formed therein. The lower panel has a hook and loop type fastener secured thereon. The hook and loop type fastener cooperates with the hook and loop type fastener of the upper panel in a closed configuration. Contained in the device are two cords. Each of the two cords is secured to the upper panel and secured to the lower panel. The two cords serve to support the lower panel in a position perpendicular to the upper panel in an open configuration.

Multi-purpose fold-down utility tray

This disclosure relates to a latent heat solar heating and cooling system which incorporates a low-pressure, flooded evaporator/collector panel in conjunction with a venturi type jet condenser driven by liquid motive force within a remote heat exchanger, to serve as a device to collect, store and transfer energy through changes of state between liquid and vapor phases of a transmission medium, so that efficient energy collection, storage and transfer may be accomplished without the use of electromechanical compression external to the remote heat exchanger.
