A header () for an agricultural harvester () includes: a frame (); a cutter bar () carried by the frame; a otatable reel () movably coupled to the frame and having a plurality of tines (); a target () associated with the reel such that movement of the reel causes a corresponding movement of the target; and a laser system () including a light emitter directed at the target. The laser system is configured to emit a laser beam at the target and output a distance signal (D) corresponding to a distance of at least one of the target or the reel from the light emitter.

A cam assembly is provided for a pick-up reel of an agricultural harvester. The cam assembly includes a cam track, a roller bearing assembly, a crank arm, and a biasing member. The roller bearing assembly includes a baffle and first and second cam followers. The first and second cam followers are each mounted to the baffle in spaced apart relation and engaging the cam track. The crank arm is for mounting to the pick-up reel. The biasing member biases the roller bearing assembly relative to the crank arm.

An adjustable stalk stomper and/or chopper curtain assembly for a header of an agricultural harvester. The adjustable assembly comprises a control arm, at least one member connected to the control arm, wherein the at least one member is configured to knock down plant stalks and/or to shield the agricultural harvester from flying debris, and wherein the control arm is configured to provide for adjustment of the orientation of the at least one member relative to the ground and the header. An agricultural harvester header may include the above adjustable assembly and a frame having a toolbar. An agricultural harvester may include such header.

The knife drive assembly includes a housing, a rotatable driver having at least one curved channel or sloped lateral side, at least one wobble arm engaging the curved channel and a at least one mounting bar that engages the wobble arm and a cutter bar such that when the rotatable driver is rotated, the cutter bar engages in substantially linear oscillating motion.

An agricultural baler includes a baling chamber configured to receive a compressible material. The baler includes a plunger proximate a first end of the baling chamber and configured to move within the baling chamber to compress the compressible material into a bale. The baler also includes a rear door assembly having one or more rails positioned at a second end of the baling chamber, opposite the first end. The rear door assembly has a rear door with parallel tracks configured to receive and to guide a strap around the second end of the baling chamber to facilitate surrounding the bale with the strap. The rear door is slidingly coupled to the one or more rails and is configured to move along the one or more rails between a closed position and an open position.

An agricultural baler including a sealing assembly positioned adjacent to a baling chamber. The sealing assembly is configured to receive a strap and to seal the strap into a loop around compressible material within the baling chamber to form a strapped bale. The agricultural baler also includes a strap gripper positioned adjacent to the sealing assembly. In some embodiments, the strap gripper includes a pivot plate, a guide wheel rotatably coupled to the pivot plate, and a drive wheel. The pivot plate is biased to rotate about an axis in a first direction to urge the guide wheel toward the drive wheel, and the drive wheel and the guide wheel are configured to receive the strap after the strap is looped around the compressible material, to block movement of the strap away from the sealing assembly, and to drive the strap toward the sealing assembly.
