A suture passer includes an elongate tube defining a central lumen and having a beveled distal end region and a grasping member comprising a first elongate member and a first jaw extending distally from the first elongate member. The grasping member is sized to be disposed within the elongate tube and is capable of being extended from the elongate tube in a manner such that the first elongate member and the first jaw are disposed at least partially distal to the beveled distal end region of the elongate tube. The grasping member is further capable of being retracted within the elongate tube in a manner such that the first elongate member is located substantially within the central lumen of the elongate tube and the first jaw substantially covers an opening of the beveled distal end region of the elongate tube.

Suture passers and related methods

A suture passer guide that includes an elongate member having a longitudinal axis and defining a first proximal opening and a first distal opening. The first proximal and distal openings are substantially aligned with one another such that a suture passer can be extended through the first proximal and distal openings at an acute angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the elongate member. The suture passer guide can be configured to be passed through a central lumen of an endoscopic port.

Suture passer guides and related kits and methods

An endoscopic port that includes an elongate cannula defining a central lumen that extends substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the cannula and is sized to receive at least one endoscopic instrument therein. The cannula further defines a first opening that extends through a sidewall of the cannula at an acute angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the cannula. The first opening is sized to receive a suture passer.

A uterine manipulator tip includes a finger and an expandable member. The finger is configured to be confined within a cervix. The expandable member is carried by the finger and is configured to engage a cervical canal between an internal cervical os and an external cervical os of the cervix.

In an episiotomy retractor, distal portions of the blades are shaped to diverge away from one another for enhanced retraction and gripping of respective adjacent vaginal walls, proximal portions of the blades are shaped to diverge away from one another to retract the labia as the blades retract respective adjacent vaginal walls, and the proximal inferior longitudinal edges of the blades cooperatively define, when the retractor is in use, an open work area for a surgeon about the perineum and the posterior vaginal wall of a patient.
