A fluid transfer pump that has a housing, a body portion movable within the housing between a first position and a second position, a gear coupled to the housing, a body cavity defined partially between the body portion and the housing, and an aperture defined in the housing that selectively provides a fluid to the body cavity. When the fluid is applied to the body cavity at or above a pilot pressure, the body portion is in the first position adjacent to the gear and when the fluid is applied to the body cavity at a fluid pressure lower than the pilot pressure, the body portion is in the second position and spaced from the gear.

A method of operating a steering system having a rotatable steering control, a steering actuator having a rod movable along a range of travel, a rotary device coupled to the steering control, and a valve assembly disposed between the rotary device and the steering actuator includes rotating the steering control in a first direction, displacing the rod toward an end of the range of travel, and determining when the rod reaches the end of the range of travel. The method also includes, after determining, actuating the valve assembly from a first position in which the rotary device is not in fluid communication with the steering actuator, to a second position in which the rotary device is in fluid communication with the steering actuator, and inhibiting further rotation of the steering control in the first direction due to back pressure on the rotary device.

Hydraulic steering system

A steering system includes a user-manipulable steering control, a steering actuator, a pump, and a first valve assembly configured to control a flow of fluid from the pump to the steering actuator in response to manipulation of the steering control. The steering system also includes a rotary device coupled to the steering control. The rotary device is configured to direct fluid in response to manipulation of the steering control. The steering system further includes a second valve assembly movable between a first position in which the rotary device is not in fluid communication with the steering actuator and a second position in which the second valve assembly fluidly communicates the rotary device with the steering actuator.

A transfer pump configured to move a hydraulic fluid in a hydraulic fluid management system of a hydraulic system of a vehicle including a transmission. In one embodiment, the transfer pump moves the fluid from a differential case to a hydraulic reservoir coupled to the transmission. The transfer pump is a positive displacement pump including an unloading device, such as a sealing plate, that is resiliently biased against the pump during a normal operation but is moved away from the pump upon the application of a pilot pressure. The result is an open chamber for the pump gears to turn without developing pressure, to thereby reduce parasitic losses.

A multi-coupler assembly for a work vehicle includes a first bank of fluid connectors, a second bank of fluid connectors configured to matingly engage the first bank of fluid connectors along a coupling axis, and a coupler mechanism coupled to the first bank of fluid connectors. The coupler mechanism is controllable to bring the second fluid connector bank into mating engagement with the first fluid connector bank. A breakaway feature is integrated into the coupler mechanism. The breakaway feature facilitates controlled disengagement of the first fluid connector bank from the second fluid connector bank along the coupling axis during a breakaway event, such as when an implement inadvertently detaches from the work vehicle. The breakaway feature may permit controlled disengagement of the first and second fluid connector banks without requiring movement of the coupler mechanism.

A hydraulic system includes a charge pump which supplies fluid to variable displacement main pump, a fluid reservoir and valve unit. The valve unit includes a hollow housing having a first end communicated with the reservoir and a second end communicated with the charge pump and the main pump. A housing valve land member is located between the first and second ends. A valve member is movably mounted in the housing. The valve member has a valve disk attached to first and second valve stems which project from opposite sides of the valve disk. The valve disk has a central position wherein the valve disk is received by the ring. The valve stems are slidably supported by stem support members at opposite ends of the housing. A hollow sleeve projects from an end of the valve unit. A spring is mounted in the sleeve and is engagable with an end of one of the valve stems and is biased to urge the valve member away from the sleeve.

Double-acting valve unit

A hydraulic system is provided for an engine driven vehicle. The hydraulic system includes a higher pressure engine driven pump for supplying pressurized fluid to a higher pressure circuit via a first supply line. The system also includes a lower pressure engine driven pump for supplying lower pressure fluid to a lower pressure circuit via a second supply line. The system also includes a pressure responsive relief valve. The relief valve has a sensing port connected to the first supply line, an inlet connected to the first supply line, and an outlet connected to the second circuit via the second supply line. The relief valve opens when a demand of the higher pressure circuit is satisfied. A cut-off valve controls communication between the high pressure circuit and a reservoir, and a control unit controls the cut-off valve as a function of operation of the high pressure circuit.

Dual pump dual pressure hydraulic circuit

Router jig apparatus includes a base portion, a router positioning portion, a workpiece orbiting portion and a workpiece positioning portion. The base portion includes a quadrangular frame section disposed generally horizontally and a supporting stand extending downwardly from the frame section. The router positioning portion includes a plate section slidably engageable with the frame section, the plate section includes a central first opening of a shape to pass a motor of an inverted router and retain a work surface surrounding a bit thereof. The workpiece orbiting portion includes a guide section disposed above and closely adjacent to the frame section, the guide section including a large circular second opening therein. A disc member is rotatably positioned within the guide section opening, generally in a common plane therewith, the disc member including a central third opening. The workpiece positioning portion includes a support section resting on the disc member and a horizontally pivotable section carried by the support section. An upstanding specimen holding section has its lower end affixed to the pivotable section on a free side thereof and extends upwardly therefrom with securing mechanism for fixing the inclination of the upstanding section and specimen retaining mechanism disposed along the length of the upstanding holding section.
