Methods, devices, and systems for detecting incapacitation and location using nodes are described herein. One system for detecting incapacitation and location using nodes can include an impact sensor, and a node including a memory and a processor to execute executable instructions stored in the memory to determine an incapacitating event has occurred via the impact sensor, determine a location of the node using a plurality of nodes, where the plurality of nodes include the node, and transmit the incapacitating event and the location of the node to an external server.

A system and method are provided for displaying video surveillance fields of view limitations. The system and method perform video surveillance of a given area and then geo-locate any obstacles within the area, including measuring their overall size and shape. The system and method map the size, location and shape of the objects into a database and then identify where there are video surveillance coverage gaps from each vantage point where video surveillance is being performed on the area. The system and method then determine where there are overlapping locations of blocked video surveillance (i.e., locations that are 'invisible' to video surveillance). The system and method create a simulated image of the area from an orientation above the area which indentifies locations within the area that may not be seen by video surveillance from any of the vantage points where video surveillance is being performed.

The computing device includes a memory and a processor coupled to the memory. The processor is configured to execute executable instructions stored in the memory to determine a location of a user based on location information received from a personal device of the user, receive information regarding a predicted path or range of an event, determine, based on the location of the user and the information regarding the predicted path or range of the event, if the user is located within the predicted path or range of the event, and send a notification of the event to the user if the user is located within the predicted path or range of the event.

Systems, methods, and computer-readable and executable instructions are provided for providing a universal access device. Providing a universal access device can include storing access data for each of a number RFID readers, wherein each of the RFID readers accepts a particular RFID protocol. Providing a universal access device can also include selecting a particular RFID protocol for one of the number of RFID readers while the universal access device is within an activation zone of the RFID reader. Furthermore, providing a universal access device can include providing the access data for the particular RFID reader via the particular RFID protocol.

An antenna includes a plurality of loops and a plurality of double pole double throw (DPDT) switches. The plurality of DPDT switches is coupled to the plurality of loops. The DPDT switches are configured to cause a change in direction of current in one or more of the plurality of loops, thereby altering a direction of a magnetic field in one or more of the plurality of loops, such that a device positioned at a plurality of positions in relation to the antenna is electromagnetically coupled to the antenna at the plurality of positions.

Some embodiments relate to a contactless RF coupling device that includes a first substrate and a second substrate. The RF coupling device may provide a broadband, low loss electrical connection without mechanical contact as would a conventional mechanical connector. The first substrate includes a first ground plane on one side and a first transmission line on an opposing side. The first transmission line includes an enlarged first coupling member at an end of the first transmission line. The second substrate includes a second ground plane on one side and a second transmission line on an opposing side. The second transmission line includes an enlarged second coupling member at an end of the second transmission line. The first ground plane may not extend under the first coupling member and the second ground plane may include an opening that is aligned with the second coupling member.
