The present invention relates to compounds having activity at both the human glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptors. The present invention also relates to compounds having an extended duration of action at each of these receptors. Furthermore, the present invention relates to compounds that may be administered orally. Compounds may be useful in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus ('T2DM'). Also, the compounds may be useful in the treatment of obesity.

The present invention relates to dual incretin peptide mimetic compounds that agonize receptors for both human glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), and may be useful for treating type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2D).

A cable take-up includes a cylindrical case and a plug mechanically attached to the case and extending axially from the case. Within the case, a cable is wound onto a rotating spool biased by a spring to retract the cable. A ratchet prevents the cable from retracting and a release for the ratchet is accessible from outside of the case.
