Techniques for efficiently and economically providing data transfer through wireless data networks. These techniques are particularly suitable for Internet data transfers. In one aspect, mobile devices are able to be allocated additional wireless channels to obtain increased data transfer capabilities. The additional wireless channels can be used for unicast, multicast or broadcast of data. These techniques provide additional wireless bandwidth to mobile devices and allows control over allocation of the additional wireless bandwidth.

Wireless internet access with enhanced bandwidth capabilities

Techniques for efficiently and economically providing data transfer through data networks are disclosed. The techniques are particularly suitable for Internet data transfers. In one aspect, delayed response processing is utilized. Requests for common content are initially queued. After a short period of time, the queued requests are processed as a group so as to better utilize available bandwidth, particularly in times where traffic or congestion is high. In another aspect, multiple-destination data packets are utilized.

Method and system for reduction of delay and bandwidth requirements in internet data transfer

Improved techniques for data delivery from a server machine to client machines through a network are disclosed. The techniques reduce the demands on connection bandwidth between the client machines and the network, and thus enable media-rich data to be delivered with reduced amounts of network bandwidth. The techniques also reduce the bandwidth demands on network servers and overall network infrastructure. According to one aspect, web pages (e.g., markup language documents) can be modified to cause local content to be used or at least preferred over remotely located content.

Method and system for providing local content for use in partially satisfying internet data requests from remote servers

A molding compound contains a reinforcing fiber, a non-fibrous filler, and an unsaturated polyester resin. The unsaturated polyester resin contains an unsaturated monomer as well as a polyester polymer. The polymer is a unsaturated polyester made from a hydroxyl component and a carboxylic component. The hydroxyl component contains both a monomeric diol or triol, and a polymeric polyol. The polymeric polyol is a hydroxyl-terminated polymer such as polyether or polyester diols or triols. The carboxylic component can be provided by an unsaturated carboxylic diacid, an unsaturated carboxylic anhydride, an unsaturated carboxylic diester or mixtures thereof. Molded articles are provided by compression or extrusion molding of a molding compound as described above. The articles are characterized by improved crack resistance, toughness, and surface appearance.

Reinforced polyester resins having increased toughness and crack resistance

The present invention provides an electrically conductive sheet molding compound composition adapted for electrostatic painting comprising a resin mixture including about 20 to about 60% by weight of thermoplastic resin based on the total weight of said resin mixture, the thermoplastic resin being selected from the group consisting of styrene-butadiene rubber, polystyrene, saturated polyester resin, and mixtures thereof; fibrous reinforcing material; and conductive material. The conductive material is added to the sheet molding compound composition in a sufficient quantity to render an article molded with said composition with structural integrity and electrically conductive enough to be electrostatically painted.

Molded articles prepared from flexible sheet molding compounds, and method of making the same. A flexibility modifying agent is incorporated into a thermoset resin composition (e.g. sheet molding compound) to improve the flexibility characteristics of the thermoset resin composition by lowering the flexural modulus. The thermoset resin composition also contains therein an isocyanate terminated urethane prepolymer; a thickening agent; a catalyst; a fibrous reinforcing material; and an inert filler.

Flexible sheet molding compound and method of making the same

Molded articles prepared from flexible sheet molding compounds, and method of making the same. A flexibility modifying agent is incorporated into a thermoset resin composition (e.g. sheet molding compound) to improve the flexiblity characteristics of the thermoset resin compositon by lowering the flexural modulus. The present invention relates to the discovery and development of a novel class of phase stabilization additives for thermoset polyester resins. The use of these materials imparts improved glass read out and superior homogeneity when compared to art-disclosed systems thus producing an overall improved Class A quality thermoset polyester resin surface finish for a variety of products. A tank tread pad is formed from a polymeric material which is formed by an inter penetrating polymer network comprising a first urethane component and a second resinous component which cures under different conditions and is substantially unreactive with the urethane. A fiberous reinforcement is present in the cured resinous material.
