Embodiments of the invention relate to automated code coverage measurement and tracking per user story and requirement. An aspect of the invention includes receiving one or more software development requirements. One or more tasks are generated from the one or more software development requirements. A task identifier (ID) is assigned to each of the one or more tasks, and each of the task IDs is assigned to at least one code component. An application is released that includes at least one code components.

Automated code coverage measurement and tracking per user story and requirement

One or more test results and one or more user stories are received. For each test result in the one or more test results a set of content space coordinates of the one or more test results is compared to a set of content space coordinates of the one or more user stories. Based on the comparison it is determined if one or more user stories have been tested. One or more results of the comparison are then stored.

Automated data collection, computation and reporting of content space coverage metrics for software products

Exemplary embodiments include a computer-implemented method for generating agile user stories, the method including collecting, by a processor, a plurality of requirements, creating, by the processor, a plurality of content space specification files that includes the plurality of requirements, processing, by the processor, the plurality of content space specification files to generate the user stories and outputting, by the processor, the user stories.

Automatic generation of user stories for software products via a product content space

A computer-implemented method for managing user story requirements includes collecting, by a processor, a plurality of requirements, creating, by the processor, a plurality of content space specification files that includes the plurality of requirements, processing, by the processor, the plurality of content space specification files to generate a plurality of content space-based testable units, and managing, by the processor, the plurality of requirements to reduce gaps and overlap between individual content space testable units in the plurality of content space-based testable units.

Integration and user story generation and requirements management

An extensible framework provides a unified interface for data manipulation in a dynamic object-based format. A data access layer of the Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Graphical User Interface (GUI) component uses ODBC to read and write files. Four abstractions implement the framework. These are (1) a CDatabaseManager class that provides access to data stored in a database; (2) a CSpecializedFile class which composes a CDatabaseManager that abstracts the management of reading and writing to database files and provides a unified interface for use by accessors. If the base class functionality of the CSpecializedFile class is not sufficient then derived specialized file classes are implemented to override the CSpecializedFile commit method and update the file in a different-fashion and/or implement specialized get/set methods by column data item and data type; (3) a CRecordArray class which manages vectored access to information stored as objects in a CColumnData class; and (4) a CColumnData object which manages changes made to the information and saves it when requested.
