A telecommunications enclosure box for compactly supporting and housing components that provide communicative connection of remote multimedia equipment. The enclosure box includes a base, a front door, pairs of first and second mounting brackets, and pluralities of first and second securing elements. The pairs of first mounting brackets and second mounting brackets are adapted to support various components on the base for communicative connection of remote multimedia equipment.

A cable management assembly for managing wires having a rack with a plurality of mounted channel members. The channel members each comprise a left, right, and middle member which form a Z-shaped cross section and define first and second receiving areas for holding a plurality of wires. The middle member further includes apertures such that a wire can be received concurrently in both receiving areas. The channel members are mounted on the rack by integrals clips that extend from each channel member and engage mating holes located on the rack. A second embodiment channel member includes a first member and an opposing second member each having integral clips extending therefrom for mounting the channel members on the rack. The channel member further has a middle member connecting the first and second members which form a C-shaped cross-section and define a receiving area for holding a plurality of wires.

Vertical cable management system

A channel for managing equipment cables that includes opposing first and second members and a third member extending between and connecting the first and second members. Each of the first and second members includes first and second inner and outer surfaces. At least one cable receiving area is defined between the first and second inner surfaces of the first and second members. First and second equipment mounting elements extend from each of the first and second outer surfaces of the first and second members. The first and second equipment mounting elements are connectable to equipment. A base support is coupled to at least one of the first and second members.

The patch panel provides communications between an insulation displacement connector (IDC) at a PD/User end, and any standard interface type using unshielded twisted pair cables, such as an RJ45 connector at a switch end at performance levels of at least category 3, 5, 6 e, 6 and/or higher (e.g. 6 e or 7) and equivalent performance levels by compensating for the active electronics used in providing advanced features. Compensation is achieved in part through the separation and isolation of active and communication circuit elements.

A hinged swing bracket assembly for a telecommunications rack system has first, second and third arms. The first arm has a first end and a second end and is adapted to be connected to a support. The second arm has first and second ends. The first end of the second arm is pivotally connected to the first arm and the second end of the second arm is releasably connected to the first end of the first arm. The third arm has first and second ends. The first end of the third arm is pivotally connected to the second end of the second arm, and the second end of the third arm is releasably connected to the first end of the second arm.

A patch panel assembly having a bracket with a base extending between first and second side walls. The bracket defines a cable receiving passageway. First and second patch panels are coupled to the first and second side walls for pivotal movement about first and second vertical pivot axes between open and closed positions. The patch panels are selectively engageable with one another in their closed positions for limiting access across the cable receiving passageway.

A relay rack assembly for the management of cross-connect products and a multiplicity of wires includes a base and top, each base and top having a plurality of guide portions extending therefrom, each guide portion including an engaging rib. Vertical members are coupled between the base and top by slots disposed in the sides of the vertical members receiving an engaging rib on the base and top. First and second fastener inserts are coupled to both the vertical members and the base and top, respectively, thereby securing the vertical members to the base and top. The attachment of the first and second fastener inserts and the engagement of the engaging ribs of the base and top and the slots of the vertical members supports the vertical members substantially square or perpendicularly to the base and top of the rack.

A patch panel assembly includes a panel that has opposing first and second end portions with a plurality of panel securing apertures located on each end portion. A cable management bar is releasably coupled to the panel and has opposing first and second arm portions with tab securing elements extending therefrom that correspond to and engage the panel securing apertures. First and second cover members are coupled to the panel at each of the first and second end portions. Each of the first and second cover members cover the tab securing elements of the cable management bar when coupled with the panel. Slots for holding identification labels are also disposed in the outer surfaces of the first and second cover members.

Patch panel assembly

A modular cable management panel assembly includes a panel, a set of rings mounted on a surface of the panel and a cover coupled to the rings. The rings are spaced along the panel longitudinal axis and have openings extending laterally through them. The cover is movable between a closed position extending over and closing the ring openings and an open position spaced from the ring openings to allow cables to pass laterally into and out of the rings. The panel assembly is adaptable for mounting various accessories.

A patch panel supports a plurality of energy transmission connectors, and includes a jack holder, a front panel and a cable tray. The jack holder has a plurality of openings in which the connectors can be mounted and has a vertical member and a horizontal member extending at a angle to the vertical member. The vertical member has upper and lower engagement members extending from a surface of the vertical member remote from the horizontal member. The front panel has a vertical section with openings and with upper and lower, rearwardly extending engagement flanges defining a channel between them. The jack holder is mounted in the channel with the engagement members engaging the engagement flanges. The openings of the front panel are aligned with the openings in the jack holder. The cable tray is coupled to and extends forwardly from the vertical section of the front panel.
