Tools used to acquire a core tissue sample are disclosed. A portion of the tools may be configured to rotate when acquiring the core tissue sample. The tools include a partoff tab to sever the core tissue sample from a lesion and to retain the core tissue sample when the tool is removed from the patient. The tools may further include a light source to illuminate a working field.

A method and system of providing therapy to a patient's uterus. The method can include the steps of inserting a uterine ablation device into the uterus, expanding a distal anchor, inflating a proximal balloon to pull the distal anchor proximally and seat the distal anchor against the internal os of the uterus, inflating a central balloon to seal the cervix, delivering vapor from the uterine ablation device into the uterus, and condensing the vapor on tissue within the uterus. The system can include a cervical collar adapted to place a distal portion of the device within the uterus when the cervical collar contacts an external os of the cervix.

Devices, systems, and methods used to drain a body cavity under a vacuum are disclosed. The devices include a vacuum container and a cap. The container includes an ergonomic gripping portion to allow a user to easily handle the container in use. The devices may be configured to drill into cortical bone and saw a hole into a bone lesion and/or bone marrow while obtaining the core tissue sample. Methods and apparatus for determining the integrity of a bodily cavity

A method and system of providing therapy to a patient's uterus is provided, which can include any number of features. The method can include the steps of inserting a uterine device into the uterus and performing a uterine integrity test to determine that the uterus is intact and not perforated. If it is determined that the uterus is not perforated, a patency test can be performed to determine that the uterine device is not clogged or embedded in tissue. If the uterus is intact and the device is not clogged or embedded in tissue, the uterus can be treated with the uterine device, e.g., uterine ablation. Systems for performing these methods are also disclosed.

A syringe is disclosed. The syringe comprises a plunger and a barrel. The plunger can be rotated relative to the barrel to lock, unlock and/or translate the components relative to each other.

A biopsy device for acquiring a tissue sample is disclosed. The biopsy device comprises a partoff mechanism which can have at least a tab and an actuator. The actuator can be used to control the angle of the tab and thus partoff a tissue sample. The tab may be on a cutter tube, which may have a sharp distal end which may core the samples from the mass of tissue. Multiple tissue samples may be collected.

A shoe fastening device and/or technique used to fasten a shoe is disclosed herein. A shoelace can be laced into a shoe in any number of lacing patterns. The two ends of the shoelace may be secured to the shoe. An overhand knot may be present when the shoelace is in a loosened configuration.
