A method of operating a network node in a wireless communication system includes configuring a downlink control information (DCI) message that schedules uplink or downlink communications with a user equipment (UE) in a plurality of serving cells. The DCI message does not include an explicit new data indicator (NDI) field for at least one of the serving cells scheduled by the DCI message. The network node transmits the DCI message to the UE. A method performed by a UE includes receiving a DCI message that schedules uplink or downlink communications in a plurality of serving cells. The DCI message does not include an explicit NDI field for a serving cell scheduled by the DCI message. In response, the UE determines an NDI value associated with scheduled communications for the serving cell or determines that the scheduled communications for the serving cell contains a new data transmission.

Data indicator for DCI scheduling multiple cells

Regarding a first radio frequency (RF) carrier, a network node of a wireless communication network configures two or more bandwidth parts (BWPs) in the first RF carrier, each BWP aligning with a respective one of two or more other RF carriers positioned within the RF spectrum spanned by the first RF carrier. The node determines a frequency-sharing configuration for each BWP, in dependence on radio resource usage of the respective other RF carrier and configures wireless communication devices to use respective ones of the BWPs. For example, the node determines a resource-usage pattern for control-related signaling conveyed on the other RF carriers and transmits rate-matching information for the BWPs of the first RF carrier. Each BWP occupies RF spectrum used by a respective one of the other RF carriers, and the rate-matching information transmitted for each BWP depends on the resource-usage pattern determined for the respective other RF carrier.

Method and apparatus for spectrum sharing in wireless communication networks

This disclosure pertains to a method of operating a user equipment in a radio access network. The method includes transmitting acknowledgement information reporting on subject transmissions associated to one or more subject transmission slots based on a HARQ codebook. The HARQ codebook indicates a bit pattern of the acknowledgement information. Moreover, the HARQ codebook is based on a first numerology, the first numerology being used for the subject transmissions in a first communication direction, and a second numerology, the second numerology being used for transmitting the acknowledgement information in a second communication direction, wherein a first slot duration associated with the first numerology is different from a second slot duration associated with the second numerology. The present invention relates to the field of communication technology with regard to cell scheduling. A method of operating a network node comprises transmitting a single Downlink Control Information (DCI) to a radio node, the single DCI scheduling Physical Downlink Shared Channels (PDSCHs) on a plurality of cells. The single DCI indicates a counter downlink assignment indicator (DAI) which is either based on the plurality of scheduled cells or independent of the plurality of cells scheduled by the single DCI.

Signaling multiplexing with latency requirement

According to an aspect, a CSI/HARQ feedback-transmitting node receives control information indicating resources in which data is to be received by the node. The control information includes an ACK/NACK Resource Indicator (ARI) having a value indicating one of a plurality of predetermined sets of control channel resources for transmitting CQI feedback and HARQ feedback. The node determines a feedback payload size parameter, based on a number of bits to be reported for CQI feedback and for HARQ feedback, and selects, from a plurality of control channel resources in the predetermined set of control channel resources indicated by the value of the ARI, one of the control channel resources of the predetermined set, based on the feedback payload size parameter. A method, system and apparatus are disclosed. A network node configured to communicate with a wireless device (WD) is provided. The network node includes processing circuitry configured to cause the network node to: indicate a splitting of an initial physical shared channel allocation that crosses a slot boundary into at least a first physical shared channel allocation in a first slot and a second physical shared channel allocation in a second slot; and communicate with the wireless device, WD, according to the at least the first physical shared channel allocation and the second physical shared channel allocation.

According to certain embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device includes receiving, from a network node, downlink control information (DCI). The method also includes determining, based on the DCI, a first group of downlink channel sub-slots for downlink channel transmissions.
