Network nodes and methods for enabling access to a radio network node

There is described a method of operating a user equipment in a radio access network. The method comprises transmitting signaling based on a sounding reference signaling schedule, the sounding reference signaling schedule scheduling transmission of sounding reference signaling in a first time interval, wherein the first time interval overlaps, in an overlap time interval, with a second time interval, for which physical channel signaling is scheduled, wherein transmitting signaling comprises transmitting, in the overlap time interval, the physical channel signaling omitting the scheduled sounding reference signaling. According to certain embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device includes receiving, from a network node, downlink control information (DCI). The method also includes determining, based on the DCI, a first group of downlink channel sub-slots for downlink channel transmissions. The first group of downlink channel sub-slots corresponds to a group of uplink channel sub-slots and is associated with one or more uplink resources in the corresponding group of uplink channel sub-slots. The method additionally includes constructing a first HARQ codebook comprising acknowledgment (ACK) and/or negative acknowledgement (NACK) feedback for the downlink channel transmissions scheduled in the first group of downlink channel sub-slots. The method further includes transmitting the ACK and/or NACK feedback, using the one or more uplink resources, according to the first HARQ codebook.

Techniques for enhancing performance in Industrial Internet-of-Things (IIoT) scenarios, including techniques for time-sensitive networking (TSN) and 5G wireless network integration. An example method, performed by a wireless device, comprises receiving system information (SI) from a radio base station (RBS) of a radio access network (RAN), the SI being indicative of support for TSN through the RBS, and establishing at least one TSN stream with an external data network, through the RBS. An exemplary OTT-providing host computer includes a transceiver, a processor, and memory collective configured to provide the OTT service by initiating transmission of user data to the UE. An exemplary method includes operations of receiving a downlink control information (DCI) message carried by a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) on a second carrier, wherein the second carrier uses a second OFDM numerology, obtaining an aperiodic CSI-RS slot offset from the DCI message, determining a reference slot in the first numerology, determining the slot of the aperiodic CSI-RS based on the reference slot and the aperiodic CSI-RS slot offset, and receiving or transmitting the aperiodic CSI-RS in the determined slot.

Data signaling for wireless communication networks

There are provided mechanisms for monitoring search spaces. A first method performed by a wireless device comprises receiving an Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbol in a downlink slot. At least part of the OFDM symbol is included in a device-specific search space and in a common search space. The first method comprises monitoring the device-specific search space for at least one device-specific reference signal (RS) and monitoring the common search space for at least one non-device-specific RS. In a second method, a radio access network node transmits an OFDM symbol included in a device-specific search space and in a common search space. The device-specific search space contains a device-specific RS, or the non-device specific search space contains a non-device-specific RS, or both of these apply.
