The present invention comprises a unique method for mounting and supporting a printer used with personal computers. The invention, a Vertical Printer Stand, is comprised of a printer stand base, printer support brackets that support the printer in a vertical position, adhesive backed mounts that attach to the printer side walls, and straps that attach to the adhesive mounts and around the printer, securing the printer to the stand. The entire assembly is then typically mounted to the wall using standard wall mount fasteners, with the printer mounted parallel to the wall. The primary purpose of this invention is to remove the printer from the desk and free up valuable desk and office space. The paper may either feed from the floor, desk top, or from an optional paper feed tray.

Vertical printer stand

An elongate header for mounting a connector. The header includes a series of insulative L-shaped segments each including a base having an aperture for receiving a header post and further including a resilient, deflectable wall extending from the base. Adjacent segments are joined by interconnection means sufficiently thin that a group of segments can be broken away by hand from the remainder of the segments. The header also includes a post disposed in each aperture, the locking means for cooperating with a component of the connector to lock the connector, once mounted to the header. Finally, the header includes polarizing means for preventing reverse mounting of the connector on the header. Headers of a predetermined number of segments can be removed from an indeterminate length of such segments to preclude the need for a user to carry an inventory of headers of different lengths.

Locking and polarizing header

In electronic random die, where a device electronically determines a simulated roll of a six-sided die (or two-sided dice), the circuit consists of a multi-position switch and related circuitry which allows the device to also simulate a roll of a die other than six-sided, namely four-sided, eight-sided, twelve-sided, twenty-sided, or one hundred sided. All of these die rolls are available on this one device.
