A time recorder includes a digital display and a printer for printing selected information including time, date, comment and number. A removable cover covers programming text which surrounds the display. During programming, the cover is removed to expose the text and accept and change buttons which allow a user to accept or change entries in several printing and other categories. Programming entries are indicated either directly or through codes which are described in the programming text. Customized comments may be generated by a user. A character count is maintained on the display during programming. The display is inverted by the user to allow orientation of the time recorder for table or wall mounting.

Foldable keyboard

A computing assembly which comprises a hand held computer or PDA that contains a housing, a processor in said housing and an input/output arrangement in said housing coupled to said processor for inputting data to, and outputting data from the processor and a foldable keyboard electrically connected to the PDA. The foldable keyboard has first and second planar keyboard halves having a plurality of depressable keys arranged on a surface. The keyboard halves have complementary curved outer peripheral edges and are attached to one another by an intermediate hinge. When in the open position, the first keyboard half is substantially coplanar with the second keyboard half, and the peripheral edges of the first and second keyboard halves form a substantially continuous curvilinear path. When in the closed position, the first keyboard half is folded over, substantially congruent in shape with, and in a plane parallel to the plane of the second keyboard half. Means are provided for electrically connecting the first and second keyboard halves to the hand held computer.

Compact disc binder

A compact disc storage case for storing a compact disc includes an interior storage compartment which receives the compact disc. A manually manipulatable latch/eject mechanism is incorporated in the storage case and includes an elongated latch/eject member which moves within the storage compartment between two positions. In one position, the latch/eject member engages the inner hole of the compact disc and in the other position, the latch/eject member disengages the disc and forces it partially out of the storage case. The storage compartment includes a ramp which the latch/eject member traverses in its movement between the two positions and the ramp forces the latch/eject member out of disengagement with the compact disc.

A binder housing multiple compact discs includes a hollow housing formed from two opposing housing portions interconnected at a common hinge line. The binder has an internal spine which spans the common hinge line and flexes between an untensioned position when the binder is closed to a tensioned position when the binder is opened. The internal spine includes a series of disc carriers which detachably engage the spine and when tensioned, the spine displays the disc carriers in a radial fashion.

A compact disc storage case for storing a compact disc includes a base portion with a disc-receiving recess formed therein and a manually manipulated sliding cover that overlies the recess. The cover is bifurcated and has a cover portion and a sliding portion interconnected by a hinge. Movement of the sliding portion raises the cover portion and causes a disc-lifting mechanism to lift the disc partially out of the recess.

A diskette transporter is disclosed. The transporter includes a top cap which operationally engages a bottom container in a transverse direction that provides an additional plane of support and pushes the diskettes upward to different heights in order to facilitate easier selection and review. Further, the transporter includes a living hinge which allows the user to review any labels on the computer media in the bottom container prior to selection and removal.
