Magazine insertion funnel

A magazine insertion funnel for facilitating the insertion of a magazine into an aperture of a firearm designed for receiving the magazine. The funnel includes a central well with a narrow opening to be positioned adjacent to the aperture, and a wide opening that is distal from the aperture. The well includes a narrow section that is adjacent to the aperture, a wide section that is distal from the aperture, and a waist dividing the two sections. The narrow section has a first frustorectangular shape at a first insertion angle, and the wide section has a second frustorectangular shape at a second insertion angle. The second insertion angle is larger than the first insertion angle.

A charging handle for a firearm includes a primary handle and secondary handle in communication with a latch for engaging to or releasing from a firearm's bolt carrier, allowing for ambidextrous operation of the charging handle, allowing for operation that overcomes interference from optical sights on a firearm, and allowing for operation in various firing positions.

An assembly for facilitating the insertion of a fresh magazine into a magazine receiver opening of a pistol having a handle frame member to which a pair of opposing hand grips are removably attachable. The magazine insertion guide is secured in position on the butt portion of the frame member by engagement of a plurality projecting securing members that are concealed by, and cooperatively engage interior elements of specially configured hand grips when the grips are attached to the frame member, the exterior surfaces of which mimic the original equipment grips.
