An engine idle control method of an off highway vehicle. The method including the steps of: detecting a static load on the engine; detecting a dynamic load on the engine; determining if the static load is below a predetermined static level; determining if the dynamic load is less than a predetermined range; and engaging an auto-idle feature dependent upon both of the determining steps being true.

Idle return system and method for an off highway vehicle

A balloon inflating device includes a gas mixing device fluidly connecting a supply of pressurized lighter-than-air (LTA) gas and a supply of a second gas to a balloon interface nozzle via a gas shut-off valve. The gas mixing device includes an outer pipe including a closed first end, an inner chamber, an inner pipe that projects through the closed first end of the outer pipe into the inner chamber, a first fluidic inlet and an outlet port. The inner pipe includes a second fluidic inlet into the inner chamber. The second fluidic inlet fluidly connects to the supply of LTA gas. The first fluidic inlet is proximal to the closed first end and fluidly connects to the supply of the second gas. A second end of the outer pipe fluidly connects to the outlet port. The outlet port fluidly connects via the gas shut-off valve to the balloon interface nozzle.

Method and apparatus for inflating a balloon

A ride control system uses speed, pressure, hand throttle, foot throttle and seat position information associated with a tractor-loader-backhoe to determine when to engage and disengage the ride control system for the tractor-loader-backhoe. Once the ride control system is engaged, the ride control system can be disengaged in response to either an operator command or a measured speed of the tractor-loader-backhoe being below a predetermined speed.

Ride control system

A system for on-site recovery of reusable industrial waste components, such as solvents, from a liquid waste stream includes a trailer that is internally partitioned to separate system components through which the waste stream passes in a first partitioned section of the trailer from support and control components in the second trailer section. Input waste is fed into a horizontal thin-film evaporator within the first trailer section, while steam is fed in a closed loop through the evaporator from the second section of the trailer for evaporating volatile solvents in the waste stream, and thereby separating the volatile solvents from non-volatile liquid and solid components of the waste stream. The evaporated volatile solvents are fed to a heat exchanger, again enclosed within the first partitioned section of the trailer, for recondensation through heat exchange with a coolant fed to the heat exchanger in a closed loop from the second trailer section. The recondensed solvents are then fed to a water separator tank and a molecular sieve for separation of immiscible and miscible water from the solvents, and thence to a holding tank for resupply to the customer. The non-volatile components of the evaporator output are fed to a second holding tank for recirculation through the evaporator or return to the customer for disposal.
