Razors and systems for wet shaving are provided. The razors include a heating element and a heating material that may be heated by the heating element. Some systems include a holder for the razor, comprising contacts positioned to engage electrical contacts of the razor and deliver power from a power source to the heating element.

Heated shaving razors

Connecting structures are provided, for connecting a cartridge to a handle in a shaving razor, e.g., a razor for wet shaving. A cartridge connecting a structure includes a molded body, and a blade unit receiving portion having a shell bearing structure that pivotally receives a blade unit, the shell bearing structure comprising a pair of shell bearings. The cartridge connecting structure further includes a spring return for biasing the blade unit relative to the cartridge connecting structure, the spring return being positioned between the shell bearings and extending integrally from the molded body of the cartridge connecting structure.

Shaving razors and cartridges

A shaving razor blade unit including a housing having a primary guard at a front of the housing and a primary cap at an upper surface at a back of the housing, one or more primary shaving blades between the primary guard and the primary cap, a rear wall having a rear exterior surface extending downward from the upper surface at the back of the housing to a terminating surface, and a trimming blade mounted on the rear wall and having a trimming cutting edge extending at least partially beyond the terminating surface inside of an imaginary extension of the rear exterior surface, the rear exterior surface defining a secondary cap for the trimming blade. The back of the housing includes a trimming guard including spaced guard segments.

Shaving razors and other hair cutting assemblies

A subassembly for a shaving razor that includes a plurality of elongated metal blades that are secured to each other as an integral unit. The plural blades have cutting edges defining a shaving surface, and are secured to each other by weld connections at their respective longitudinal ends.

Blade subassemblies for shaving razors

Shaving razors and cartridges are featured that include one or more shaving aid portions. In some instances, the razors and cartridges include a shaving aid holder, configured to allow the shaving aid portion to deflect when pressure is applied to a surface of the shaving aid portion during shaving.

Shaving razors and razor cartridges are provided. In one embodiment, a razor is provided including (a) a handle, (b) a head, separable from and pivotally mounted on the handle, the head including a housing that is positioned to contact the user's skin during shaving and that carries one or more blades configured for wet shaving, (c) an electrical circuit, configured to power an electrical function associated with the head, a first portion of the circuit being disposed in the handle and a second portion of the circuit being disposed in the head, and (d) an electro-mechanical connector, pivotally joining the head to the handle, configured to provide electrical communication between the first and second portions of the circuit.

Shaving razors and razor cartridges

A shaving razor blade unit including a housing having a primary guard at a front of the housing and a primary cap at an upper surface at a back of the housing, one or more primary shaving blades between the primary guard and the primary cap, a rear wall having a rear exterior surface extending downward from the upper surface at the back of the housing to a terminating surface, and a trimming blade mounted on the rear wall and having a trimming cutting edge extending at least partially beyond the terminating surface inside of an imaginary extension of the rear exterior surface, the rear exterior surface defining a secondary cap for the trimming blade. The back of the housing can include trimming guard including spaced guard segments. The trimming blade, trimming guard and trimming cap can be provided as an assembly that is attached to the rest of the housing. The assembly can include a sheet metal support with a blade welded to the support.

Shaving razors, and blade subassemblies therefor and methods of manufacture

A hand-held pressurized product dispenser including a container containing a product under pressure, a valve mechanism and base structure at the top of the container, a nozzle that moves between an unactuated position and a discharge position, and a side lever that extends along the can and is movable to move the nozzle from the unactuated position to the discharge position. The dispenser also has a dome that is rotatably connected to the base structure and surrounds the nozzle and interacts with the nozzle to cause rotation of the nozzle between a locked position and an unlocked position. The nozzle has one or more downwardly directed feet that align with solid areas of an upwardly directed surface in the locked position and that align with open areas of the base structure in the unlocked position, such that the nozzle is free to move into the discharge position.

Hand-held product dispensers having pressurized delivery

A cartridge dispenser for razor blade cartridges including latches that retain cartridges in predetermined positions permitting connection to a handle connecting structure on a handle as the handle is moved toward the cartridge, each latch having a latch camming structure that is shaped and positioned to interact with corresponding handle camming structure so as to cause the latch to be deflected and to unlatch a cartridge as the handle is moved toward and connected to cartridge connecting structure of a cartridge. The dispenser also has blade unit dividers that extend from the base, are substantially perpendicular to the base, and define blade unit regions in which the blade units are received, and angled dividers that extend from the ends of respective blade unit dividers at acute angles with the base and define angled regions through which the blade units pass in delivery to and removal from the blade unit regions and in which the cartridge connecting structure is received.
