The present invention relates to a formulation of thermosensitive liposomes, and more specifically to a formulation of liposomes comprising phospholipids and a surface active agent, wherein the liposomes support long term storage at temperatures less than or equal to about 8&#xb0; C., control degradate formation to maximize product potency and release their contents at mild hyperthermic temperatures. Methods of making formulations are also described.

The present invention provides methods for the use of visible and/or near-infrared spectroscopic methodology to monitor and control processes for the generation of particles, including processes that provide for a reduction in particle size and processes that result in an increase in particle size. One embodiment of the present invention employs visible and/or near-infrared diffuse reflectance spectroscopy to monitor particle size. The present invention is particularly useful for monitoring particle size of optically dense samples and is further useful for monitoring the endpoint of particle generation processes. In contrast to methods known in the art, the present invention is especially useful for on-line monitoring of particle size.

A photograhic cropping mask of a planar sheet, such as paper, plastic or cardboard, having defined therein a plurality of prescored, detachable rectilinear openings having a common center, indexing means and, optionally, an area of adhesive material and/or crop marks such that the sheet may be placed adjacent a transparent film to determine the cropping opening appropriate to the film image, the selected opening produced by detaching along an appropriate score line, the film attached by means of tape or the optional adhesive area to the sheet with the film properly aligned with the opening, and the film and sheet then accurately positioned in a photographic printing apparatus by the indexing means.
