A retainer for a floor mat positioned on a vehicle floor, where the floor mat includes at least one grommet. The retainer includes a body having a top edge and a bottom edge, a flange extending radially outwardly from the top edge of the body and a protruding member extending radially outwardly from an inner surface of the body, where the protruding member is between the top edge and the bottom edge of the body, and the body is removably attached to the at least one grommet by engaging the protruding member with the grommet.

A storage organizing article, comprising a foundation comprising a horizontal floor; a vertical wall comprising a plurality of vertical wall segments; wherein the plurality of vertical wall segments are releasably connectable to each other; wherein the plurality of vertical wall segments are releasably connectable to the foundation via a plurality of engagement footings of the plurality of vertical wall segments; wherein the horizontal floor has a base wall, a plurality of retention members and a plurality of engagement receptacles; wherein each engagement receptacle is formed by a sub-grouping of the plurality of retention members, respectively; and wherein, when the foundation and vertical wall are connected, each of the engagement footings is disposed one of the engagement receptacles, respectively, and forms a releasable interference fit with the sub-grouping of the plurality of retention members which form the engagement receptacle, respectively.

A floor mat for a vehicle having a floor is provided and includes a mat body having a core, an upper surface and an opposing lower surface. A grommet is integrally formed with the mat body and is contained between the upper surface and the lower surface of the mat body, where the grommet includes an outer surface having a protruding member. A retainer includes a body having an inner surface and a flange extending radially outwardly from the inner surface, where the inner surface includes a protruding member, such that the retainer is removably secured to the grommet by engaging the protruding member of the grommet with the protruding member of the retainer.

A floor mat for placement on a vehicle floor, where the floor mat includes a body having a bottom wall, an upper surface, and a bottom surface, and a front wall extending from the bottom wall. The upper surface and the bottom surface extending along the bottom wall and the front wall. A first portion of the bottom surface of the bottom wall having a support structure provided with a variable height such that the shape of the support structure complements the irregularities in the vehicle floor, where the support structure extends from the bottom surface of the bottom wall, and a second portion of the bottom surface of the bottom wall has a flat surface, where upon the vehicle floor mat being placed on the vehicle floor, the support structure engages the irregularities in the vehicle floor so that the upper surface of the bottom wall is generally level.
