An adjustable deadbolt backset latch arrangement having a bolt train including a deadbolt in which the deadbolt is arrested by action of a turntable shuttle to permit backset adjustment of the latch arrangement.

Deadbolt backset latch with interlock

A backset latch mechanism having a longitudinal housing adjustable from its rearward backset position in which a traverse spindle-driven swivel unit is engageable with a bolt retractor in the housing having transverse rearward lips engaging the swivel unit passing through the housing. The swivel unit is transversely and longitudinally moveable in the housing to permit the unit to pass forwardly in the housing past traverse forward lips and into engagement with such forward lips to thereby accomplish backset adjustment. The swivel unit is movable in opposite directions to place the mechanism in its first backset position.

Convertible backset latch mechanism

An automatic tubular deadbolt lock assembly having the automatic actuator mechanism enclosed within the tubular housing of the lock. The assembly is dimensioned like a standard tubular deadbolt, to fit within standard borings of present doors. A special quadrant trigger is mounted in and protrudes from the nose of the deadbolt, being pivotal into the deadbolt itself to an inactive recessed position upon opening of the door. With closure of the door, the trigger is cammed and depresses a camming plunger to release a transverse locking pin from engagement with the tubular lock housing, to thereby allow biased extension of the deadbolt from its retracted condition. The trigger can be rotationally reversed to accommodate left hand or right hand door arrangements.

Tubular automatic deadbolt latch

A deadbolt door lock assembly wherein the deadbolt is automatically mechanically actuated with door closure for security. Door closure actuates a trigger mechanism that releases a deadbolt restraining means to allow a biased deadbolt to be thrown to extended lock condition.

Automatic deadbolt

A security strike plate assembly comprises a strike plate that is mounted directly on the door framing by rigid bushings and mating screws. Holes are drilled through the door jamb and into the door framing a predetermined distance to form shoulders at the bottoms of the holes. The rigid bushings are closely received in the holes, and extend from the shoulders to the interior surface of the strike plate. The screws extend through mating apertures in the strike plate and the central apertures of the bushings, and into the door framing, such that selected forces applied to the strike plate are transmitted to and resisted by the door.

Security strike assembly

An interconnecting lock assembly having simultaneously actuated, multiple security deadbolts, the central one forming part of the main lock subassembly, and the others being operated from the main lock subassembly through special mechanism.
