A lock assembly for a vibratory separator includes a latch. The latch includes a first inner protrusion and a first outer protrusion. The first outer protrusion defines a first outer protrusion opening. The lock assembly also includes a first spacer. The first spacer includes a first fastener that is configured to be inserted into the first outer protrusion opening.

System and method for locking a weight assembly

This disclosure is drawn systems, devices, apparatus, and/or methods related to the separation of a mixture of solids according to size and the separation of solids from liquid. Specifically, this disclosure is drawn to an adjustable weight set for use on vibratory separators. In some examples, the adjustable weight set may include a base plate rotatable about an axis and extending radially outward from the axis; a plurality of slots extending through the base plate and being disposed between a radially outward periphery of the base plate and the axis; a plurality of weights coupled to each other about the base plate; and a weight locking tab that partially surrounds the base plate that may include one or more hooks extending through a portion of a slot.

Adjustable rotating weight

Described herein are splitters for holding and distributing input material to one or more decks of a gyratory sifter, where the splitter distributes approximately an equal amount of input material to each deck. An exemplary splitter may include a bottom surface, a sidewall, and one or more openings through the sidewall. Each opening may include a plurality of slits, allowing input material to pass therethrough. Where multiple openings are provided through the sidewall, the openings may be evenly spaced and have an equivalent area. The bottom surface may be substantially circular, and the sidewall may extend perpendicularly from the edges of the bottom surface. An exemplary splitter may be able to receive and distribute the input material when a gyratory force acts on the gyratory sifter on which the splitter is installed.

An apparatus includes a vibratory separator having a frame and a screen, a lift housing disposed proximate the vibratory separator, and a lift system disposed in the lift housing and configured to selectively engage a portion of the vibratory separator to lift the portion of the vibratory separator. A method includes actuating an actuator and vertically extending a lifting member, contacting an alignment device coupled to the lifting member with a corresponding alignment device coupled to a portion of a vibratory separator, and raising the portion of the vibratory separator to provide access to a screen of the vibratory separator.

Separator lifting apparatus and method

An apparatus, a system and a method for reinforcing a screen has a screen rod assembly extending from a first end to a second end. The screen rod assembly encloses an interior. A spring-loaded plunger is located in the interior and adjusts the length of the screen rod assembly. A ball joint is on the screen rod and defines sections of the screen rod assembly that bend around the ball joint to reduce the length of the screen rod. A sleeve extends from a screen with segments separated by a fold line extending along a width of the screen. The sleeve receives the screen rod assembly to reinforce the screen. In an embodiment, a screen pinch assembly is defined where the sleeve engages a retention clasp of a screen tensioning system that receives the screen. The screen pinch assembly holds the screen in place.

Apparatus, system and method for folding a screen for use with a screen tensioning system

An apparatus includes a screen basket and a drive system coupled to the screen basket. The drive system includes a motor and a drive having a drive shaft. The drive system imparts a gyratory motion to the screen basket. First and second eccentric masses are coupled to the drive shaft. A method includes coupling the drive system to the screen basket of a sifter; the first eccentric mass positioned a distance above the second eccentric mass. The first and second eccentric masses are rotated together. The masses of the first and second eccentric masses are provided and/or adjusted so that a summation of forces generated by rotating the first and second eccentric masses generates a force line in plane with a center of gravity of the sifter. Rotation of the eccentric weights may move a distal end of a first and/or second weight arm a vertical distance upward.

Adjustable split weight gyratory sifter

An apparatus has a frame with a screen portion and a discharge portion adjacent thereto. The frame has a bottom surface and a substantially planar top surface. The top surface extends from the screen portion to the discharge portion. An opening located in the screen portion of the frame extends through the frame from the top surface to the bottom surface. A spout formed in the discharge portion has a shape of a hollow cylinder and extends through the frame from the top surface to the bottom surface. A system has a separator with an inlet into which material to be separated enters. A unitary screen frame has a screen portion and a discharge spout with a planar top surface extending from the screen portion to the discharge spout. A first portion of the material entering the inlet flows from the planar top surface to the discharge spout.

An apparatus for detecting a break in a screen of a vibratory separator includes an infeed section coupled to the housing such that at least a portion of the material passing through the screen and directed from the housing is directed through the infeed section, a detector screening element receiving material from the infeed section, wherein the detector screening element has a plurality of openings having a size equal to or slightly larger than the opening size of the screen in the vibratory separator, and a level sensor positioned above the detector screening element, wherein the level sensor is positioned to detect material build up on the detector screening element. A method for detecting a break in a screen of a vibratory separator includes the steps of directing at least a portion of material that passes through the screen to a detector screening element including a detector screening element having a plurality of openings having a size equal to or slightly larger than the opening size of the screen in the vibratory separator, detecting when the material directed to the detector screening element builds up to a predetermined level and sending a signal in response to the detection of materia! build up to the predetermined level.
