A method of determining the risk of developing a known disease or condition or of identifying the presence of the known disease or condition in a subject includes obtaining subject data that includes results of blood tests. The blood tests include a basic metabolic panel (BMP) and a complete blood count (CBC) panel. The method further includes classifying the subject data with respect to the risk of the subject having or developing the known disease or condition by using the subject data in a machine learning classification system. The classification system includes a machine learning model previously trained on BMP and CBC data from a positive group of training subjects who received a diagnosis of the disease or condition and from a negative group of training subjects who were not diagnosed to have the disease or condition.

A biological fluid analysis cartridge is provided. In certain embodiments, the cartridge includes a base plate extending between a sample handling portion and an analysis chamber portion. A handling upper panel is attached to the base plate within the sample handling portion. A collection port is at least partially formed with the handling upper panel. An initial channel and a secondary channel are formed between the handling upper panel and the base plate. The collection port and initial and secondary channels are in fluid communication with one another. A chamber upper panel is attached to the base plate within the analysis chamber portion. At least one analysis chamber is formed between the chamber upper panel and the base plate. The secondary channel and the analysis chamber are in fluid communication with one another.

The system includes a course of treatment regimen, which includes a prescribed order of medicine amounts for periodic administration to the subject in the prescribed order. The NPA provides at least one non-visual sensory cue. The dosage amounts of the APA contained within the amounts of medicine periodically administered in the prescribed order are varied within the course of treatment regimen, and the amount of the NPA contained within the amounts of medicine periodically administered in the prescribed order are held constant within the course of treatment regimen.

The method includes applying a thixotropic composition to a nasal cavity, the composition including an aqueous carrier and a viscosity agent, the viscosity agent being in the range of about 2.5% to about 15% by weight within the composition, wherein the composition is configured to change from a semi-solid form to a liquid form upon the composition being subjected to a threshold amount of shear stress, and to return to the semi-solid form upon the elimination of the amount of shear stress.

A composition for use in a nasal application, the composition including an aqueous carrier and a viscosity agent. The viscosity agent is in the range of about 4% to about 15% by weight.
