A vented automatic dispending cap for use with a flexible container may generally include a body and a retainer cap attached to the body. A pressure chamber is formed between the body and retainer cap. A set of resilient spring members spaced around the body holds the retainer cap against the body, which seats a valve within a dispensing hole extending through the cap. When the container is squeezed, product in the container may be forced into the pressure chamber expanding the pressure chamber and unseating the valve, thereby allowing product to exit the dispensing opening. A lip seal around the upper circumferential edge of the body prevents fluid from leaking out of the sides of the chamber but allows air to enter the chamber for venting the flexible container.

Automatic dispensing cap for squeezable bottle

The non-vented automatic dispensing cap is generally formed of a body and a retainer cap. The body is threadably secured to a squeezable tube or container. The retainer cap is attached to the body. A pressure chamber is formed between the body and retainer cap. A piston may also form a wall of the pressure chamber. A coil spring or resilient flange holds a valve seated within a dispensing hole extending through the cap. When the tube is squeezed, the product is forced into the pressure chamber expanding the pressure chamber and unseating the valve, thereby allowing product to exit the dispensing opening. Upright, inverted, vented and unvented versions are disclosed.

A dispenser for use with a container of lotion or paste-like product to be dispensed. The dispenser comprises a body having an inlet port connectable to the container and a dispensing spout with a closure cap. The dispenser has a plunger assembly manually shiftable between an unactuated position and an actuated position and a piston shiftable by the plunger assembly between an unactuated position and an actuated position. Both the plunger assembly and the piston are biased toward their unactuated position. As the plunger assembly and piston are shifted toward their actuated positions, the spout cap is opened and the piston causes product to be dispensed through the spout. When the plunger assembly is released and it and the piston return to their unactuated positions, a suck back vacuum withdraws product back into said spout, a vacuum created by the piston draws product from the container into the dispenser and the spout is closed by the cap. The dispenser can be used with a collapsible container or a rigid, uncollapsible container vented by a port provided in the dispenser.

Resuable dispenser for paste, lotion and cream-like materials

A tooling device for numerically controlled machining centers having programmable torque, thrust and surface sensing utilizing a telescopic tool holder comprising an adapter to be retained in the taper of the machine spindle and a control rod in the spindle attached to an actuating rod having electronic coupling means to control the axis feed rate of the computer numerical control for controlling deceleration of the spindle and a transducer for producing a signal to feed the spindle to a programmable depth and to measure the tool thrust and torque and to sense the location of work surfaces with random length tools and also be able to control feed rate of tool proportional to tool thrust or torque.

Torque thrust and surface sensing device

An intelligent Tool System used with Computer Numerical Controlled machining centers consisting of a method of establishing tool presence and type of tooling device and a method of eliminating any error due to thermal growth. The spindle mechanism provides CNC Communicating and Operating means with spindle mounted devices for establishing tool presence and type of tooling for eliminating error due to thermal growth and for determining the function of tooling devices such as telescoping tool holders for determining work surface location with random length tools and for sensing tool condition; automatic boring tools for high precision boring and contouring; probing devices for work surface location, measurement and definition; combination boring and probing tools for boring and measuring a hole without removing the tool from the spindle.

Tool communications method

An intelligent tool system used with computer numerical controlled machining centers consisting of an internal spindle machanism and a variety of spindle mounted devices. The spindle mechanism provides CNC communicating and operating means with spindle mounted devices such as; telescoping tool holders for determining work surface locating with random length tools and for sensing tool condition; automatic boring tools for high precision boring and contouring; probing devices for work surface location, measurement and definintion; combination boring and probing tools for boring and measuring a hole without removing the tool from the spindle.

Intelligent tool system

A probe having a stylus spindle mounted in a machine tool for locating an object in relation to the stylus measurable along two axis perpendicular to the centerline of the stylus or in the plus and minus direction parallel to the center line of the stylus. The probe provides a discreet signal on contact or a signal level proportional to deflection of the stylus through interfacing with the machine computer numerical control by a machine mounted transducer unit.

Probing device

A boring machine having a tapered shank received in a spindle with a pre-loaded adjustable boring bar carrying said tapered shank and a non-rotating torque arm for controlling a pre-loaded adjustable boring bar pivotally secured to a tapered shank to pivot the boring bar.

Automatic boring tool

A tool adapter for use in drilling, tapping and milling operations with the spindle of a machining center having a collet type tool holder which holds the tool which upon advancement into the work piece at a programmed feed rate to a programmed depth rate utilizes a spring loaded unit to signal the computer numerical control through a transducer of the machining center in the event a tool is broken during the machining operation to automatically stop said operation.

Tool adapter

This invention relates to a machine tool having an upright column movably supported on a bed with a saddle movable along the guide surface of the column, supported on the bed of the machine tool and a headstock with a balancing arrangement, comprising a bar supported at each of its ends by individual cables and the headstock counterbalanced by means of a hydraulic cylinder connected to said headstock, whereby upon the traversing of the headstock, the bar counterbalances the headstock to a series of cables.
