A device for holding objects, comprising a receptacle having a having a flexible wall, a potential space and at least one open end leading to the potential space, adapted for holding an object therewithin; a strap, forming a passage between the flexible wall and the strap; and a flexible elongated supporting member affixed to the flexible wall, having an encircling portion adapted to pass through the passage and around the receptacle. The device preferably comprises flexible front and rear panels, the front and rear panels being secured to each other along the respective sides and bottoms to form a potential space. The strap is preferably on the rear, forming a space between the rear panel and the rear strap, with the flexible elongated supporting member affixed to the rear panel. The rear strap is preferably held between a junction of the front and rear panels; and the flexible elongated supporting member preferably has a pair of intersecting elongated elements affixed to the rear panel above the rear strap, the encircling portion being distal to an intersection of the elongated elements. The receptacle may be used to carry and protect a cellular telephone or other electronic communication device, and may further include an elastic loop protruding from a lateral portion of the receptacle near an opening of the potential space and passing through at least one bead, the elastic loop being adapted to ensnare an antenna.

Flexible receptacle device

A downhill skiing/snowboarding/water skiing simulator and exerciser is disclosed, having an adjustable declined platform on which two simulated skis move, supported on rear wheeled trucks, sideways against tension type resistance riding back and forth its curved back track. Simultaneously with the rear movement, the ski tips or simulated snowboard pivot around the reduced lateral travel of the stacked swiveling, lateral moving front ski tip assembly, while the skis move between wedge and parallel positions freely. Independent height adjustments on either side of the back track allow changes from traversing directional simulations prior to the start of an actual stop movement. Outward angled standing bars provide pulling forces for the feel of the centrifugal force of a snow ski turn or water ski/snowboard turn. The forward end of each ski is capable of lateral and longitudinal movement.

Exercise and ski simulating device

Apparatus for the retention of eyewear on apparel such as, for example, pants and shirt pockets is disclosed, which includes a fixed loop made of a flexible material. This loop is affixed, preferably, to a top horizontal edge of a pocket or to an upper edge of a waistband of pants, shorts, swimwear, etc. The apparatus of the invention further includes a strap, which is preferably at a lower point on the outer side of a garment. The front end of the strap is preferably attached to the lower point of the permanently affixed loop. The second end of the strap is free, or unattached, and includes on, at least, one side a complementary mating element. An attachment element on the free end of this strap is attachable to the complementary attachment element located on the inner side of the garment; the inner side of the garment being the side opposite to which the user's eyewear is held. Further embodiments of the invention are also disclosed.

Eyewear holder for shorts, bathing suits and the like

The present invention provides a mitten attachment for use in combination with a glove, which may also be detachably attached, or permanently attached, to the glove, and which includes a stowage system to permit a wearer of the glove to safely and conveniently secure conventional pocket items, such as money or household or car keys. The mitten attachment of the invention is, preferably, secured to the wearer's hand, over a glove already being worn by the wearer, via a series of strap portions which preferably secure the mitten attachment by having one strap portion encircle the wrist area of the user and another strap portion encircling the palm area of the user. The mitten attachment also, preferably, includes a thumb attachment portion for the optional enclosure of the gloved thumb of the user. Each strap portion is preferably integral with the overall construction of the mitten attachment. Additional, or fewer, strap portions may be utilized with the present invention. Alternatively, the article of the present invention may be either permanently secured to the glove of the wearer or fully or partially detachably attached by means, for example, of Velcro. The mitten portion of the mitten attachment article may be utilized to hold conventional pocket items, such as money or keys. Such items may be placed within the mitten portion of the article and the mitten portion may then be folded back underneath the backside portion of the article to securely stow such article. Various other embodiments of the present invention are also disclosed.

Mitten attachment with a thumb portion for a glove with an appendage

A set of bed dust ruffles, preferably made of cloth, which has along its upper, unruffled border, i.e., perimeter, a mesh or screen is disclosed. The mesh affixed to the ruffles is to be releasably attached to attachment, or fastening, means located on the box spring. Such attachment means, or fastening means, preferably include a sphere or conical head which may be affixed to the box spring or mattress of the bed. The fastening means preferably includes an adhesive layer which contacts the box spring or mattress of the bed, an intermediate foam layer, and an upper layer of, preferably, plastic or other material. The upper layer is to be attached to the head which is to releasably engaged to the flexible mesh of the unruffled poriton of the invention. The preferred fastening means also should include means for permitting the additional engagement of fastening pins, which would penetrate the upper layer, the intermediate form layer, and the lower adhesive layer. The pins, preferably tow pins, are opposed to one another relative to the head of the fastening means, would then penetrate the box spring or mattress.

Dust Ruffles for a bed with an improved fastener system

Mitten attachment for a glove with an appendage stowage system

A set of bed ruffles, preferably made of cloth, which has along its upper, unruffled border, i.e., perimeter, a mesh or screen, is disclosed. The mesh is, preferably, made of a durable, but flexible plastic. The mesh affixed to the ruffles is to be releasably attached to attachment means located on the box spring of the bed. Such attachment means are, preferably, a sphere which may either be permanently or temporarily affixed to the box spring or mattress of the bed. When a user wishes to decorate a bed with the ruffles of the present invention, a user need simply lift a portion of a top mattress and affix the mesh, having the ruffles, to the attachments means which would have been previously secured to the box spring. The mesh would be affixed around, usually, three sides of the perimeter of the box spring.

Dust ruffles for a bed

A multi-purpose holding device including a receptacle or pouch and a fastener particularly advantageous for use in moving vehicles. The surface of the pouch and one side of the fastener are constructed of complementary a hook and loop material which allows the pouch to be attached to and removed from the fastener. The other side of the fastener contains an adhesive for securing the fastener to an object base. The device is useful for holding many different objects. The holding device is also adapted to hold and insulate an open beverage container without spilling its contents. The pouch also preferably contains a second compartment and a slot between the surface of the pouch and a strip of light-reflecting material. As a result of the strip of light-reflecting material and the construction of the pouch and fastener the holding device is also adapted for use as a warning device.

Holding device

An article-holding system for use on objects to hold and support articles which have a vertical component of weight which is otherwise unsupported. This system includes first and second strips, the strips having complementary fabric fasteners thereon with the object being placed adjacent the first strip, the second strip being bent around the object and fastened to the first strip with the second strip also having a free-hanging piece of fabric-fastening material, serving as an anti-peel tab, which is fastened to the first strip.

System for holding articles to objects

An article-holding system in which a first piece having fabric fastening means thereon is adapted for attachment to a base member and a flap having a piece of complementary fabric fastening means on opposite faces at its ends is attached to said first piece at an intermediate point. The flap is folded at an intermediate point in a storage condition so that the pieces of complementary type fabric fastening material at its ends can be fastened to said first piece whereby a flap which is longer than the first piece can be stored to occupy only the length of the first piece. When in article holding use, the flap is extended from the first piece, bent around the article and fastened to the first piece. A dual type system is also provided where the article can be held in one of two locations.

Article holding system

An accessory holder, for use on an article of clothing such as ski jacket or the like, comprising a flap having one end fixed to one attachment point adjacent the junction of the arm and shoulder of the article of clothing and adapted to fit around the accessory to be held, such as a foldable hat. The other end of the flap is detachably attached to another point of attachment on the shoulder of the article of clothing to hold the accessory, with an intermediate piece provided on the underside of the flap adapted to hold the accessory and also to be attached to said other point of attachment.

Accessory holder for use on article of clothing

An accessory holder, for use on an article of clothing such as ski jacket or the like, comprising a flap having one end fixed to one attachment point on the article of clothing and adapted to fit around the accessory to be held, such as a pair of ski goggles. The other end of the flap is selectively fastened between another point of attachment on the article of clothing to hold the accessory, and still a further point of attachment where it is stored.
