A biometric wearable device (e.g. finger ring or smart watch) has optical sensors to measure body oxygenation level, hydration level, glucose level, heart rate, heart rate variability, and/or blood pressure. Light from light emitters is transmitted through body tissue and changes in the light are analyzed. The angles and/or vectors along which the light is transmitted through body tissue can be automatically changed by the device in order to scan different tissue regions and/or different tissue depths.

This invention is an optical structure with a plurality of movable reflective elements. These reflective elements have first configurations which allow transmission of environmental light. These reflective elements have second configurations which block (or reduce) transmission of environmental light and which reflect light from a virtual-object display toward a person's eye. This enables display of a relatively-opaque virtual object in an area of a person's field of view, while providing the person with a relatively-clear view of their environment in the rest of their field of view.

In an example, light emitters can direct light inward toward the surface of a person's finger to measure one or more biometric parameters.

This invention is a device with an expandable light-emitting display which is worn on a persons' wrist and/or lower arm. The expandable display can be a flexible display which can be rolled and then expanded by unrolling it out from a housing. In an example, the flexibility of the expandable second display can be adjusted. The second display can be made flexible so that is can be rolled around a roller, but can also be made rigid for use as a touch screen in an expanded state.

There can be anterior and posterior electrodes on the eyewear temple and the temple can have an upward and/or inward curving wave or arm. This invention is a system to assist human cardiovascular functioning which integrates the operation of an implanted cardiac device and a wearable device with an arcuate array of biometric sensors. Analysis of data from the biometric sensors on the wearable device is used to automatically adjust and optimize the operation of the implanted cardiac device. This system can work as a closed loop system for assisting and improving human cardiovascular functioning.

This invention is a head-worn device (e.g. headband, halo, or headset) with sensors (e.g. electrodes) which record brain activity. In an example, the device can be undulating with concave undulations which rest on the tops of a person's ears. In an example, the device can further comprise right side and left side ear prongs (e.g. arms, segments, or portions) which curve around the posterior and upper surfaces of a person's right and left ears.
