An apparatus including a bag is disclosed. The bag includes a first panel, a second panel, a first fastener located on the first panel, and a second fastener located on the second panel. The bag is able to move between an open position and a closed position. In the closed position, the first fastener is releasably secured to the second fastener. In the open position, the first fastener is not in contact with the second fastener. Some embodiments also include a bag stand and a catch.

An opener to assist in the opening of a threaded lid from a threaded jar. The opener is a body at least partially to embrace the peripheral wall of a lid. Preferably it allows for an expansion to facilitate application, and a shoulder to be abutted by a thumb or finger to add torque to the removal efforts.

A female connector having a locking mechanism which can be selectively applied to permit the removal or insertion of the blades of a male plug into the female connector or retain such blades within the female connector. The female connector has two pairs of contacts each having a first end at which two contact arms are located. A projection on one of the arms is dimensioned and positioned to engage a mating hole in a plug blade. The position of the one arm with projection is controlled by an actuator assembly which is accessible from outside the female connector. When the push button of the actuator assembly is pushed, the projection is removed from the associated contact arm to permit a plug blade to be removed or enter between the contact arms. In the reset position the projections grip the plug blades making withdrawal from the female connector of the male blades difficult.

A display strap in the form of a flat belt of flexible material into which a number of tongues are cut each individually deflectable out of the plane of the strap about an unsevered end used as a hinge. The tongue has a cross-member at its free end and a portion of reduced width adjacent the cross-member. Two part slots are provided adjacent the hinge to receive the cross-member and then permit the tongue to be displaced into locking engagement between the cross-member and the rear surface of the strap. The looped tongue is employed to support elongate articles formed into multi-turn hanks. An alternative locking slot arrangement employs a tapered width locking slot which requires the tongue to be rotated to enter the locking slot making accidental opening of the loop very difficult.

A fluorescent work light assembly employing a twin tube fluorescent bulb which is interconnected at a second end and has one contact for each tube at a first end to place the bulb in series with a source of AC power. The bulb is mounted in a protective envelope tube with supports adjacent both ends to position and support the bulb. And end cap at the second end permits the light member to be suspended adjacent a work area. An end cap at the first end permits a power source to be connected via a two position switch to the bulb pins. Both end caps are assembled to the protective envelope stop members and have members which also permit the end caps to be assembled. A ballast device is placed in the work light assembly itself.

An adapter for holding in assembly the connectors of two electrical cables. The base of the adapter is fastened over at least a part of the first connector and attached below or on a mounting panel. The second connector is matingly coupled to the first in the adapter and a locking member, pivotally mounted on the base, is placed over the second connector to prevent separation of the connectors and provide strain relief to the second cable/connector joints.

Articles, such as a bag, may be more comfortably and securely carried by a hand grip which hooks a strand of the article, such as a strap of a bag. The hand grip is comprised of a body in which a hand hole is defined. The lower portion of the body forms a hook for grasping or hooking the strap of the article. The hand hole is contoured to provide a comfortable, noncutting surface for the user's hand, fingers or palm. The hook is formed with a wider mouth than throat so that the strap is easily placed in the hook and only somewhat less easily dislodged from the hook thereby increasing the degree of security by which the article is carried. The hand grip may be formed as a planar piece in which the hook extends to the side in the same plane as the hand hole or may be provided with one or more hooks which extend in directions out of the plane defined by the hand hole. The body is reinforced by a thickened ribbing which extends at least along one surface of the hook and in the illustrated embodiment around the entire circumferential edge of the body, hand hole and hook.

A plug and socket connector clamp for maintaining engagement between an electrical plug and mating socket connector. The clamp includes a housing having sides and end abutments defining a central space for receiving the mated plug and socket connector. The sides prevent sideways disconnection of the plug and socket connector in at least one plane. A first of the end abutments contains an electric cord retaining slot and is in intimate contact with one of the plug and socket connector. The second end abutment has a releasable member for the rapid installation and removal of a cord clamp which also includes a clamping portion arranged to be brought into intimate contact with the other of said plug or socket connector. The releasable cord clamp itself is made up of two hinged halves which can be rapidly installed to or removed from an electrical cord, making overall installation and removal of the clamp quick and simple.

A storage device for electrical extension cords includes a substantially elongated hollow tubular member having hollow end caps at either end from which extend winding arms. The winding arms are adapted to have an electrical extension cord or the like wrapped around them to form a coil of wire along the elongated body member between the arms. At one end of the first end member there is a rotatable hook for mounting the entire assembly including an extension cord. Along the body of the elongated member are two clamps for holding the plugs at either end of the extension cord in place. The plug clamps are movable longitudinally along the body of the elongated member to allow for adjustment for different lengths of extension cord. A tubular extension member is partially mounted internally of the elongated member such that it may move in or out of the body of the elongated member to form an adjustable support for positioning against the ground during winding. When not in use, the extension member may be substantially entirely positioned within the elongated member.

The play and entertainment value of a card toss game is substantially enhanced by combining the tossing of a plurality of cards, each having an erratic flight behavior or path, with a game board having a plurality of pockets defined therein for receiving the cards if successfully tossed and a counter built into the game board for accumulating scores attributed to the tossed cards and adding additional scoring values. The plurality of pockets of the game board are distinguished one from each other in that at least one of the pockets has a shape and size which allows cards to be more easily tossed therein than the others. Additional ones of the pockets are further uniquely associated with selected ones or suits of the cards so that scores within these pockets are counted depending upon the type of cards successfully tossed into each pocket. Movement of a counter token accumulates the score of each player and additionally adds bonus or penalty points or provides for sudden grand slam victory depending upon play calls, position of the token counter on the game board and score received from the toss of the card into one of the plurality of pockets.

The clamp includes a housing having sides and end abutments defining a central space for receiving the plug and connector. The sides prevent sideways disconnection of the plug and connector in at least one plane. Various structures are disclosed for releasably engaging and urging together the plug and connector within the central space. The clamp preferably is carried by an extension cord in readiness for association of its connector with the plug of a selected electrical fitting or appliance.
