An anatomical model simulator system includes an anatomical model assembly. The anatomical model assembly includes an anatomical model shell having a plurality of apertures defined therein; and a plurality of electrodes. Each electrode of the plurality of electrodes is disposed within one of the plurality of apertures, and each electrode includes at least one of carbon black and silver epoxy. The anatomical model simulator system also includes a model control system. The model control system includes a power supply configured to deliver electrical energy to the plurality of electrodes; and a controller configured to control the delivery of the electrical energy to the plurality of electrodes.

Electrified anatomical model

An open-irrigated ablation catheter system includes a catheter body, and an electrode tip body mounted on a distal portion of the catheter body. The electrode tip body includes a proximal end configured for connection to the catheter body and a wall defining an open interior region and including one or more irrigation ports. The wall is conductive for delivering radio frequency (RF) energy. The catheter system further includes a proximal insert positioned partially within the catheter body and at least partially within the proximal end of the electrode tip body. The proximal insert includes a fluid inlet for receiving a cooling fluid delivered via the catheter body. The proximal insert forms a flow path configured to direct the cooling fluid from the fluid inlet to cool the distal portion of the catheter body and to cool a junction of the catheter body and the electrode tip body.

Embodiments herein relate to distributed interactive medical visualization systems with primary/secondary interaction features and related methods. In an embodiment, a distributed interactive medical visualization system is included. The system can include a first video processing circuit and a first central processing circuit in communication with the first video processing circuit. The system can also include a first communications circuit. The system can also include a primary user interface generated by the first video processing circuit. The primary user interface can include a three-dimensional model of at least a portion of a subject's anatomy from a first perspective, the first perspective configured to be controlled by a primary user. The primary user interface can include a command interface object, wherein engagement can cause a secondary user interface to begin mirroring the perspective of the primary user on the three-dimensional model of the subject's anatomy. Other embodiments are also included herein.

Distributed interactive medical visualization system with primary/secondary interaction features

Embodiments herein relate to distributed interactive medical visualization systems including user interface features and related methods. In an embodiment, a distributed interactive medical visualization system is included having a first video processing circuit, a first central processing circuit in communication with the first video processing circuit, a first communications circuit in communication with the first central processing circuit, and a first user interface generated by the first video processing circuit. The first user interface can include a three-dimensional model of at least a portion of a subject's anatomy from a first perspective, the first perspective configured to be controlled by a first user. The first user interface can further include one or more user representations representing one or more other users, the user representations superimposed within the three-dimensional model, wherein each of the one or more user representations are visually distinct from one another. Other embodiments are also included herein.

Distributed interactive medical visualization system with user interface features

Devices, systems, and methods for implanting and testing multi-conductor electrical leads are disclosed. An illustrative implant tool for use with an implantable lead includes a main body, a plurality of spring contact members, and a knob mechanism. The main body of the implant tool includes a distal clamping mechanism with an opening adapted to frictionally receive a terminal boot of the implantable lead. The spring contact members are configured to provide an interface for connecting electrical connectors from a Pacing System Analyzer (PSA) or other testing device to the terminal contacts on the implantable lead. A knob mechanism coupled to the main body can be actuated to engage a terminal pin of the implantable lead, allowing an implanting physician to engage a fixation helix into body tissue by rotating the mechanism.

Described herein is an implantable medical device and methods for making a device that includes a metal housing using a molding process. In one embodiment, the housing includes a header attachment element that extends from the housing. In another embodiment, the implantable medical device includes a header attachment surface comprising one or more header retaining features configured to secure a connector header to the header attachment surface. In another embodiment, the housing includes one or more structural elements extending from and integrally molded with the interior surface of the first or second portions of the housing. Also disclosed are methods of making the implantable medical device.

Described herein is an implantable medical device and methods for making a device that includes a metal housing a molding process. In one embodiment, the housing includes a header attachment element extends from the housing. In another embodiment, the implantable medical device includes a header attachment surface comprising one or more header retaining features configured to secure a connector header to the header attachment surface. In another embodiment, the housing includes one or more structural elements extending from and integrally molded with the interior surface of the first or second portions of the housing. Also disclosed are methods of making the implantable medical device.
