One aspect of this disclosure is a pole apparatus. The pole apparatus may comprise a grip segment comprising a cord attachment surface; a pole segment; a tip segment and a cord extending between at least the pole segment and the tip segment. The grip segment, the pole segment, and the tip segment may be arrangeable in a side-by-side disposition. A portion of the cord extending between the pole segment and the tip segment may be positionable on the cord attachment surface in the side-by-side disposition. The grip segment may be removably attachable to the tip segment such that, when the portion of the cord is positioned on the cord attachment surface, the removable attachment of the grip segment to the tip segment may maintain the side-by-side disposition. Aspects of related apparatus, methods, and systems also are disclosed.

Pole apparatus, methods, and systems

A system for forming display holders, such as name badges, identification badges, name plates, signs and the like, from modular, interchangeable components. In one embodiment a display holder is provided comprising a display subassembly having a cover and a backer plate releasably connectable to the cover, the plate having a first connector located on a rear surface of the plate. The display holder also includes a second connector releasably connectable to the first connector for positioning the display subassembly relative to a support surface.

One aspect of this disclosure is a climbing skin attachment apparatus. The apparatus may comprise a climbing skin attachment portion and a snow device connection portion, a channel extending at least partially through the climbing skin attachment portion along a channel axis to receive an anchor portion of a climbing skin, and a passage extending through the climbing skin attachment portion and into the channel along the channel axis to receive a lead portion of the climbing skin. Climbing aids for use on snow comprising a climbing skin and one or both of a climbing skin tip and tail are disclosed. At least the climbing skin tip and/or tail is comprised of a flexible sheet that may be composed of a plastic polymer. Embodiments are disclosed in which the sheet is resilient and curved in a generally transverse direction to transfer forces towards the edges of the climbing aid to reduce entry of snow between the climbing aid and the undersurface of a ski or snowboard.
