An artificial intelligence based vascular mapping and interventional procedure assisting platform configured to identify at least the femoral artery and the bifurcation point of the femoral artery of a patient based upon dynamic imaging of the patient. The platform may be a stroke management tool in which an angiogram and conventional bloodwork can be inputted into the platform and the platform provides one of i) classification of a stroke and stroke prediction; and whether an interventional procedure is indicated and wherein if interventional procedure is indicated then vascular mapping is provided with bifurcation points and the desired access illustrated together with a listing of accepted or counter indicated closure systems that may be used.

A method of implementing an artificial intelligence based imaging platform for cardiopulmonary analysis comprises providing a multilayer convolutional network for cardiopulmonary analysis configured for segmenting data sets of cardiopulmonary scans into resolution voxels; supervised learning and validation of the platform by classification of tissue within classification voxels of a specific given training and validation data sets by the multilayer convolutional network for neurological tumor identification with each classification voxel of the training and validation data sets having a predetermined ground truth; and implementing the platform by classification of tissue within classification voxels of a specific given patient data sets by the multilayer convolutional network for cardiopulmonary analysis with each classification voxel of each data set assigned a label. An artificial intelligence based imaging platform implemented according to the method is disclosed.

An acoustic sensor platform based method and apparatus provides for improved pain mitigation, apnea detection, aspiration detection and patient communication in anesthesia patients. The platform includes an acoustic sensor configured to be coupled to one of a nasal cannula or face mask of the anesthesia patient; a processer coupled to the acoustic sensor and configured to i) Detect patient speech and isolate and amplify the patient speech, and ii) Detect at least one of a breathing rate of the patient or aspiration of the patient; and an audio visual display coupled to the processor and providing an audio and/or visual display of the isolated and amplified speech of the patient, and displaying results for at least one of a breathing rate of the patient or aspiration of the patient.

Acoustic sensor platform method and apparatus for pain mitigation, apnea detection, aspiration detection and patient communication in anesthesia patients

A surgical method and apparatus of repairing a tear, cut or defect in the body tissue, specifically the dura or vascular wall, is disclosed. An inner plate is placed on the tissue's inner surface in a position completely overlapping the tissue defect. An outer plate is placed on the tissue's outer surface in a position completely overlapping the defect and aligned with the inner plate. The inner and outer plates have perimeters larger than the perimeter of the defect and include coiled ribs. The inner plate is coupled to the outer plate such that the peripheral edges of the body tissue defect are securely clamped between the inner and outer plates to provide a watertight repair to the tissue defect.

A wheeled walker includes a walker frame with user supports and a plurality of downwardly extending legs with wheel assemblies attached to a plurality of the walker legs. Each wheel assembly includes a base member with a wheel rotatably supported on the base member and a wheel alignment mechanism for moving the base member and the wheel. The wheel alignment mechanism will move the base member and the wheel between at least a first position in which the wheel is angled with respect to the direction of travel of the walker and a second position in which the wheel is aligned with the direction of travel of the walker. The wheel mechanism moves the base member and the wheel in response to the vertical force exerted on the base and the wheel. The walker including the wheel assembly having the wheel alignment mechanism provides a method for braking a wheel walker which brakes the walker by moving the associated wheel to a position at angle with respect to the direction of travel of the walker in response to appropriate vertical forces on the walker.
