The invention relates to a composition comprising A) a polyester, B) a polyolefin and C) a compatibilizer, wherein A) comprises a first polyester derived from an aromatic dicarboxylic acid, an acyclic aliphatic diol and at least one of a cycloaliphatic diol and spiroglycol and a second polyester different from the first polyester. The invention further relates to an article comprising the composition, particularly a toy block.

The invention relates to an article comprising a stud for fitting into a complementary receptacle and/or comprising a receptacle for fitting into a complementary stud comprising a composition comprising A) a polyester, B) a polyolefin and C) a compatibilizer, wherein the amount of A) is at least 75 wt % of the total composition, the amount of B) is 5 to 22.5 wt % of the total composition and the weight ratio of the amount of B) with respect to the amount of C) is 2 to 20. Poly(ester-carbonate)s, articles formed therefrom, and methods of manufacture

A melt-blend composition is formed from, based on the total weight of the melt-blend composition, 0 to 5 wt. % of an additive; and 95 to 100 wt. % of a polymer composition, wherein the polymer composition comprises, based on the total weight of the polymer composition, 5 to 95 wt. % of a first copolycarbonate consisting of bisphenol A carbonate units and first additional carbonate units of the formula (II), (II), (III), (IV) or (V); 95 to 5 wt. % of a second copolycarbonate consisting of bisphenol A carbonate units and second additional carbonate units (phthalimidine carbonate units); and 0.001 to 0.1 wt. % of a transesterification catalyst, wherein the melt-blended composition has a haze of less than 15% and a transmission greater than 75%, each measured using the color space CIE1931 (Illuminant C and a 2&#xb0; observer) at a 3.2 mm thickness. 

Compatibilized compositions, articles formed therefrom, and methods of manufacture

Polycarbonate blend compositions are disclosed. The compositions include at least one polycarbonate useful for high heat applications. The compositions can include one or more additional polymers. The compositions can include one or more additives. The compositions can be used to prepare articles of manufacture, and in particular, automotive bezels.
