A centrifugation injection mold comprising: a lower mold portion having a basic block the lower portion of which is mounted to and rotates within bearing means that are affixed to a machine structure, a plurality of axial columns the bottom portions of which are affixed around the outer portions of the basic block, and a moveable block defining a lower mold cavity and being mounted in a sliding relationship to the axial columns, in order to be axially displaced between an open mold position and a closed mold position; an impelling means operatively associated with the machine structure and with the moveable block for displacing the moveable block to the open mold position against the action of an elastic means; a locking means mounted to each axial column; and an upper mold portion to be removably seated on the axial columns and affixed thereto by the locking means in a closed mold position.

Centrifugation injection mold

A bearing arrangement for a centrifugation injection mold, comprising an upper mold portion () and a lower mold portion (), which are respectively and rotatively mounted to an upper bearing () and to a lower bearing (), the latter comprising: a first flat ring () affixed to a machine structure (E) and presenting a radial gap that is internal in relation to the lower mold portion (); an annular cage () bearing spheres () seated on the first flat ring (), said annular cage () presenting radial gaps that are external and internal in relation to the machine structure (E) and to the lower mold portion (), respectively; and a second flat ring () inferiorly seated on the spheres () of the annular cage () and maintaining radial gaps that are external and internal in relation to the machine structure (E) and to the lower mold portion (), respectively, axially bearing the latter. The lower mold portion () incorporates an annular conical seat () on which is seated, when the mold (M) is taken to the closed position, an annular conical guide () incorporated to the upper mold portion ().

Bearing arrangement for a centrifugal casting machine

A process for the injection of an electric motor rotor, said rotor comprising: a lamination stack () having a central axial bore () and a plurality of axial channels (); and a cage () of aluminum, which is formed by an upper end ring () and a lower end ring (), which are interconnected by a plurality of bars () molten in the axial channels (). The process comprises the steps of: mounting, at the upper end portion of the central axial bore (), a stamping pin (), which has a widened head () seated against the upper end lamination of the lamination stack (); heating the lamination stack, as well as an upper cavity () and a lower cavity () of a mold (); positioning the lamination stack () inside the mold (); rotating the mold () and pouring the aluminum into the inside thereof through the inlet channel (); removing, from the mold (), the rotor (R) with the cage () already formed and comprising an upper plate () that covers the stamping pin (); and axially extracting the stamping pin () in order to break, centrally, the upper plate (), transforming it in the upper ring () of the cage ().
