A reducing agent heating system. The reducing agent heating system provides a dual energy heating strategy using both an electric heater and an engine coolant line such that emission control may be promoted efficiently. The electric heater and engine coolant line are disposed in close proximity to the reducing agent such that efficient and quick thawing of frozen or freezing reducing agent is facilitated.

Reducing agent heating system

An air-to-fluid intercooler is disclosed. The air-to-fluid intercooler may include a core assembly including an outer circumference and an inner circumference, at least one annular tube body configured to direct flow of a cooling fluid within the core assembly, and at least one curved fin coupled to an exterior surface of the at least one annular tube body and configured to direct a flow of charge air through the core assembly.

A heat exchanger for a fluid handling system is disclosed. The heat exchanger may have an inlet configured to receive a fluid at a first temperature, and an outlet configured to discharge the fluid at a second temperature lower than the first. The heat exchanger may also have at least one fluid passageway disposed to conduct the fluid from the inlet to the outlet. The at least one fluid passageway may have a first section fabricated from a first material, and a second section fabricated from a dissimilar second material. At least one of the first and second materials may include a thermally conductive polymer.

Bi-material corrosive resistant heat exchanger

A cooling system is provided having a first heat exchanger configured to remove heat from at least a portion of a first fluid and a second heat exchanger configured to remove heat from a portion of a second fluid. The second heat exchanger is located downstream of the first heat exchanger relative to the flow of air passing through the first heat exchanger so that a substantial portion of the air passing through the first heat exchanger also passes through the second heat exchanger. The cooling system also has a valve located to regulate the flow of the second fluid through the second heat exchanger. The cooling system further has a controller configured to actuate the valve to restrict the flow of the second fluid through the second heat exchanger when the first heat exchanger is removing heat from the first fluid.

An air-to-air aftercooler may include at least one tube body configured to direct a flow of charged air, wherein the at least one tube body includes a first material. The air-to-air aftercooler may also include a header assembly coupled to ends of the at least one tube body. The header assembly may include a second different material.
