A distributing control unit performs provisional switching control processing to a distributing unit when a link in use for first data units is a first link and a candidate link to be used is a second link. For example, the distributing control unit distributes at least one of the data units of the first data units of the data stream to the second link and distributes other data units to the first link. A determining unit determines whether or not a link in use for second data units subsequent to the first data units is to be switched from the first link to the second link based on first and second communication qualities, the first and second communication qualities being based on feedback information. The first and second communication qualities are communication qualities of the other data units and the at least one of the data units, respectively.

To satisfy the demand for a reduction in height, provided is a technique for reducing a gap between a motherboard and a daughterboard in the state where the daughterboard is connected to the motherboard. A card edge connector is used to be mounted on a connector mounting surface of a mainboard to connect a memory module to the mainboard. The card edge connector includes a latch portion for pressing the memory module to be displaced in a direction away from the connector mounting surface, toward the connector mounting surface. The latch portion is configured to be elastically displaceable in the direction away from the connector mounting surface.

A printer apparatus includes a printer body including an opening part that has a protruding part, a support part including a rotary shaft and rotatably attached to the printer body to rotate about the rotary shaft, a platen unit provided in the support part, and a shaft bearing including a projecting part and rotatably supports the platen roller. The opening part receives the shaft bearing. In a state where the platen unit is installed in the printer body, the projecting part and the protruding part contact each other. In a case of removing the platen unit from the printer body, the shaft bearing and the support part rotate in a same direction.

Printer apparatus and method for operating printer apparatus

A card edge connector includes an elongated housing; upper and lower stage contacts and held by the housing; and arm members for pressing, toward a connector mounting surface, a memory module to be displaced in a direction away from the connector mounting surface. Inserting an arm inserted portion of each arm member in an insertion groove of the housing allows the housing to hold each arm member freely swingable about the arm inserted portion with respect to the housing. Hemispherical projections for securing at least a predetermined amount of gap amounts of swing gaps are provided in the swing gaps and formed in the longitudinal direction of the housing between the arm member within the insertion groove and the housing.

A card edge connector is connectable to a card having a side edge. The card edge connector has a holding member extending in a first direction and a pair of arms each extending in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction from the holding member. Each of the arms includes an abutment portion and a spring portion. The spring portion is bendable elastically outward in the first direction. The spring portion has a latch and an abutting portion. The latch is engaged with the side edge of the card when the card edge connector is connected to the card. When the connected card presses the latch along a third direction perpendicular to both the first direction and the second direction, the abutting portion is brought into contact with the abutment portion so that the abutting portion regulates a movement of the latch in the third direction.

A latching module is configured to be attached and fixed to a unit. The unit is designed to be detachably installed in an electronic apparatus along a predetermined direction. The electronic apparatus has an engaged portion. The latching module comprises a base member, an operative member, a locking member, a lock urge member and a release mechanism. The base member is formed with a cam groove. The base member is configured to be fixed to the unit so that the base member is unable to move relative to the unit. The operative member is supported by the base member so as to be projectable outwardly in the predetermined direction from the latching module. The locking member has an engagement portion and a pivot portion. The engagement portion is to be engaged with the engaged portion. The locking member is supported by the base member so that the engagement portion is pivotable on the pivot portion from an engaged position to a released position. The engaged position is a position where the engagement portion is able to be engaged with the engaged portion. The released position is a position where the engagement portion is unable to be engaged with the engaged portion. The lock urge member is arranged to urge the locking member toward the engaged position. The release mechanism is designed to force the locking member to pivot on the pivot portion to the released position upon the projection of the operative member.

Latching module

A card edge connector has a plurality of contacts, a housing configured to hold the plurality of contacts arranged in a first direction, and a pair of arm members held on the housing so as to extend along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. Each of the arm members includes a latch portion and an interference portion. The latch portion is configured to engage with a side edge of a card when the card is connected to the card edge connector. The interference portion is configured to interfere with the side edge of the card in the first direction so as to prevent the latch portion from engaging with the side edge of the card when the card is improperly connected to the card edge connector. The interference portion projects inwardly in the first direction beyond the latch portion.

A connector is provided which realizes a narrower pitch of contact portions of contacts, and makes the arranging pitch of terminal portions of the contacts larger without increasing waste of material of the contacts. Signal contacts ground contacts which include contact portions, terminal portions, and connecting portions which connect the terminal portions are mounted in a housing. When the signal contacts and the ground contacts are blanked from an elastic metal plate, portions of the connecting portions and the terminal portions are inclined with respect to an imaginary plane orthogonal to a contact arranging direction.

A connector assembly is disclosed, comprising a first connector and a second connector matable with each other along a first direction. The first connector comprises a first insulator and first lock portions. The first lock portions are made of metal and are attached to the first insulator. Each of the first lock portions is formed with an engaged hole piercing the first lock portion in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The second connector comprises a second insulator and a second lock portion. The second lock portion is provided with engaging portions. The second insulator holds the second lock portion with the engaging portions movable along the second direction. The engaging portions of the second lock portion are positioned within the engaged portions of the first lock portions, respectively, under a mating state of the first connector with the second connector, so that the mating state is locked.

Connector assembly

In a connector including a conductive member adapted to be connected to a connection object, the conductive member includes a movable contacting portion to be contacted with the connection object and a position control portion integrally formed with the contacting portion and serving to control a position of the contacting portion. The contact may includes a main body integrally formed with the contacting portion and an elastic portion coupling the position control portion to the main body so that the position control portion is displaceable with respect to the main body. The main body may be integrally formed with the position control portion. The elastic portion may couple the contacting portion to the main body so that the contacting portion is displaceable with respect to the main body.

Connector improved in handlability of a connection object and backlight assembly using the connector

A connecting member has a slider with rotation shafts and a contact combined with the slider. The contact has contact portions for connection to a connection object and pressing portions connected to the contact portions, respectively. By rotating the slider about the rotation shafts to press the pressing portions, the contact portions are displaced to be connected to the connection object. It may be configured to press the pressing portions by moving the slider in a straight or curved line. Further, it may be configured that the slider presses the pressing portions to thereby displace the contact portions in directions away from the connection object.
