A temperature sensor malfunction diagnosis apparatus is provided in a vehicle that includes a device, a refrigerant circuit, an electric pump, a battery, and a temperature sensor, and configured to diagnose malfunction of the temperature sensor. The temperature sensor malfunction diagnosis apparatus includes a pump driver and a malfunction diagnosis unit. The pump driver is configured to drive the electric pump after stopping of driving of the vehicle, on the basis of the battery as a power supply. The malfunction diagnosis unit is configured to perform a malfunction diagnosis of the temperature sensor, on a condition that a charged time reaches a temperature converging time of the temperature sensor while the electric pump is driven. The charged time is a time during which charging of the battery is performed from start of the charging of the battery.

Temperature sensor malfunction diagnosis apparatus and temperature sensor malfunction diagnosis method

A heater apparatus includes a base member, a cover member supported by the base member, a cloth member provided between the base member and the cover member to hold a heater wire, and a heater temperature sensor brought into contact with the cloth member, covered on a base member side facing the base member and a cover member side facing the cover member with the cloth member, and configured to detect a temperature of the heater wire. The cover member has a cover recessed portion recessed towards the base member in an overlapping region where the cloth member on the base member side and the cloth member on the cover member side of the heater temperature sensor overlap.

Heater apparatus

A battery cooling system includes a cooling fan that takes in inside air of a vehicle cabin to an intake passage and sends the air to a battery communicating with the vehicle cabin through the intake passage, a battery temperature sensor that detects a temperature of the battery, an intake air temperature sensor that is disposed in the intake passage and detects a temperature of the air flowing through the intake passage, and a controller. The controller controls the cooling fan based on the detected temperatures. The controller performs a temperature check operation. Firstly, when the difference value between the detected temperatures is larger than zero, the controller repeats the temperature check operation. Afterward, When the difference value in the latest temperature check operation is smaller than the difference value in the previous temperature check operation and larger than zero, the controller repeats the temperature check operation.

Battery cooling system

An external heater operation determination system includes, in a vehicle: a first device to be heated by an attached external heater; a second device, separate from the first device, to be cooled by a refrigerant; a circulation device configured to circulate the refrigerant through a circuit; and a temperature detection device that is configured to detect a temperature of the refrigerant and disposed such that if the refrigerant is not circulating through the circuit, the temperature of the refrigerant detected by the temperature detection device in the circuit does not rise even if the external heater is operating, whereas if the refrigerant is circulating through the circuit, the detected temperature of the refrigerant changes. The external heater operation determination system includes a determination device able to determine that the external heater is not operating on a basis of a change in the temperature after the circulation of the refrigerant.
