An oil field pump is installed within a pipe that connects to an oil field, and feeds accumulated extraction oil in a predetermined direction. The oil field pump includes a rotor with an impeller, a stator installed on the outer circumferential of the rotor and that forms a flow path for passing the extraction oil between the stator and the rotor and that includes a diffuser on the downstream side of the impeller, a static pressure bearing device installed between the rotor and the stator and that supports the load in the radial direction, and a supply flow path that supplies, to the static pressure bearing device, a portion of the extraction oil flowing along the inner side in the radial direction of the path.

Oil field pump

A steam turbine includes a rotary shaft configured to rotate about an axis, a rotor blade including a rotor blade body extending radially outward from the rotary shaft, and a shroud on an end outside in a radial direction, a casing enclosing the rotor blade from outside in the radial direction and including a cavity accommodating the shroud on an inner circumference of the casing, a plurality of seal fins protruding radially inward from an opposing surface that faces the shroud in the cavity such that a clearance is between an outer circumferential surface of the shroud and the plurality of seal fins, and a plurality of swirl breaks upstream of the plurality of seal fins located furthest upstream in a direction of the axis in the cavity, the plurality of swirl breaks being arranged at intervals in a circumferential direction.

Steam turbine

An axial flow rotating machinery includes: a rotor; a casing; a rotating-blade stage including rotating blades and a radially-outer side rotating blade ring continuing to radially outer ends of the rotating blades; and a rotating-blade side seal device configured to seal a gap between the radially-outer side rotating blade ring and the casing. The rotating-blade side seal device includes: a seal fin having an annular shape and extending toward an outer peripheral surface of the radially-outer side rotating blade ring from the casing; and a swirl brake fixed to the casing in a cavity formed at an upstream side of the seal fin. The swirl brake includes: a first plate-shaped member having a surface along a radial direction of the rotor; and a second plate-shaped member or a third plate-shaped member having a surface oblique to the radial direction of the rotor.

Axial flow rotating machinery

A rotor-blade-side sealing apparatus is configured to seal leakage of working fluid between rotor blade rings connected to distal end portions of rotor blade main bodies attached so as to extend in a radial direction from a rotor main body configured to rotate about an axis in a casing, and an inner circumferential surface of the casing. The rotor-blade-side sealing apparatus includes a sealing fin protruding in the radial direction from a side of the inner circumferential surface of the casing toward one of the rotor blade rings and extending in a circumferential direction. The sealing fin includes: a first sealing-fin main body portion and a second sealing-fin main body portion separated from each other in the circumferential direction across a gap portion that is a discontinuity along the circumferential direction; and an extending portion extending toward an upstream side in an axial direction of the rotor main body.

Rotor-blade-side sealing apparatus, stationary-blade-side sealing apparatus, and rotary machine

This vibration measurement device is configured to measure the balancing vibration of the cartridge, a kind of rotating machines, who has a rotor and a cartridge body to support the rotor rotatably for variable operating speed, and is provided with a rigidly fixed support structure, acceleration sensors which detect the vibration of the cartridge, and a flat spring which elastically supports the cartridge with respect to the support structure and has a variable spring constant of elastic support.

Vibration measurement device and method for high-speed rotating machines

A steam turbine includes a flow guide placed about a rotor shaft and forming a side wall of a diffuser. The flow guide is formed in such a substantially truncated conical shape that a first portion having a semi-circular-arc cross section and a second portion having a semi-circular-arc cross section and exhibiting less thermal deformation than the first portion are combined together. A coupling portion of the first portion with the second portion has a first protrusion protruding, in the circumferential direction thereof, more on a rotor shaft side than on a steam flow path side of the diffuser. A coupling portion of the second portion with the first portion has a second protrusion protruding, in the circumferential direction thereof, more on the steam flow path side of the diffuser than on the rotor shaft side and overlapping with the first protrusion in the radial direction of the flow guide.

A squeeze film damper includes a bearing housing as an inner ring disposed around a radially outer side of a bearing which rotatably supports a rotary shaft, an outer ring disposed around a radially outer side of the bearing housing, a squeeze film formed by circulating a viscous fluid through a clearance in a radial direction between the bearing housing and the outer ring, and a coupling pin which couples the bearing housing and the outer ring to each other and is deformable in response to relative displacement in the radial direction between the outer ring and the bearing housing. The coupling pin has stiffness that is higher in a vertical direction than in a horizontal direction in a cross section perpendicular to an axial direction of the rotary shaft.

Squeeze film damper, bearing unit, and turbine

A sealing mechanism includes a pair of space forming rings which face each other and are configured for surrounding a shaft body, an outer bellows-joint having one end connected to an outer periphery of one of the space forming rings and another end connected to an outer periphery of the other of the space forming rings, and an inner bellows-joint having one end connected to an inner periphery of one of the space forming rings and another end connected to an inner periphery of the other of the space forming rings. Each of the inner bellows-joint and the outer bellows-joint is a corrugated plate. The space forming rings space the inner bellows-joint and the outer bellows-joint apart from each other such that the inner bellows-joint and the outer bellows-joint do not come in contact with each other.

Sealing mechanism with bellows and steam turbine provided with the sealing mechanism

A first seal member includes a double-structure bellows in corrugated form, and vibration control device provided on the outside of the bellows such as to cover part of the bellows. A flat portion that is not in corrugated form is provided in part of the bellows. The vibration control device is provided in circumferential direction on an outer surface of the flat portion, and made up of a ring-shaped rib having a plurality of holes in a circumferential direction and weights inserted in the holes provided in a wall of rib. Natural frequency is adjusted by adjusting the number of weights, thereby preventing resonance between the natural frequency of the first seal member and the rotational frequency of rotor from occurring.

Seal member, steam turbine, and method of avoiding resonance

Spindle inclination detectors (A,B) are equipped in columns (A,B) of a portal bridge () of a machine tool (). Each spindle inclination detector includes: a string () which hangs vertically with an upper end fixed to the column (reinforcement ()) and a lower end attached to a weight (); a gap sensor () which is attached to the string to measure a distance to a front face plate () of the column; and an oil damper (). Moreover, a spindle inclination correction controller provided to the machine tool controls a Peltier device (A,B) attached to a rear face plate () of the column, on a basis of an average distance measured by the gap sensor, and thus corrects an inclination of a spindle () due to the thermal deformation of the column by correcting thermal deformation of the column.
