[Object] To optimize the antenna characteristic both when worn on the human body and when separated from the human body. [Solution] A mounting base includes a mounting portion on which a communication device including an antenna and being worn on a human body is mounted or held such that the communication device comes into contact with or comes close to the mounting portion and a correcting unit installed in the mounting portion and configured to correct an antenna characteristic of the antenna of the communication device mounted or held on the mounting portion.

An antenna device includes at least one antenna that transmits and receives communication signals, and a helix ground plate connected to the at least one antenna. The helix ground plate includes an overlapping part, and has a length of at least one-quarter of a wavelength of a lowest-frequency in the communication signals.

There is provided a wired transmission line for AV devices which includes a first AV device and a second AV device, the wired transmission line allowing millimeter-wave communication between the first AV device and the second AV device using a millimeter-wave communication module provided for each of the first AV device and the second AV device, wherein the wired transmission line includes: a first coupling unit capable of being attached to a housing of the first AV device above the millimeter-wave communication module included in the first AV device; a second coupling unit capable of being attached to a housing of the second AV device above the millimeter-wave communication module included in the second AV device; and a waveguide which couples the first coupling unit and the second coupling unit.

Disclosed herein is a power supply adapter for supplying DC power to a broadcast receiver that processes a broadcast signal. The power supply adapter includes: a converter configured to generate the DC power from AC power; a broadcast signal reception section configured to receive the broadcast signal; a mixer configured to mix the broadcast signal received by the broadcast signal reception section with an output from the converter; and a supply section configured to supply an output from the mixer to the broadcast receiver.
