An object is to prevent a no-load operation. In a heating cooking apparatus () of the present invention, after a determination unit () determines that no food product is present in a heating chamber (), a reading control unit () causes the reading device () to stop a reading operation for a predetermined time, or cancels, for a predetermined time, an information code read by the reading device ().

Heating cooking apparatus

The present invention provides a cooking device (A) which, in a case where food items are cooked consecutively, makes the cooked food items uniform in condition. The cooking device (A) includes an upper heater (), a d lower heater (), a steam supplying section (), a temperature sensor (), and a heating control section (A). The heating control section (A) controls, based on the temperature measured by the temperature sensor (), the operations of the upper heater () and the lower heater () so that the temperature in a cooking room () becomes equal to a given temperature. In a case where the time from the start of a cooking process to the end of the cooking process is divided into a preceding time period and a subsequent time period, the heating control section (A) suspends the operations of the upper heater () and the lower heater () while the temperature in the cooking room () is higher than a given preceding target temperature (T) during the preceding time period.

Cooking apparatus

A steam cooker includes: a heating chamber for an item to be cooked; a removable water tank; a steam generating device with a housing to which water is supplied from the water tank and that heats the water within the housing and supplies steam to the heating chamber. A hardness detection portion includes a plurality of electrodes immersed in water within the water tank that detect the hardness of the water within the water tank by resistance between the electrodes. When the hardness of the water within the water tank is high, the interval of cleaning is shorter than an interval set when the hardness detected is low.

A steam cooking apparatus having a steam generating device that generates steam to be fed to a heating chamber and a vapor heating heater that heats the steam generated by the steam generating device to provide superheated steam. The steam cooking apparatus includes a first heating mode using the superheated steam obtained from the vapor heating heater and a second heating mode using hot air or radiation heat obtained by using the vapor heating heater without use of the steam generating device so that the second heating mode produces heat without a supply of steam.

Midway along an outer circulation passage provided outside a heating chamber, a steam generating device is arranged, and, through the outer circulation passage, steam is fed to the heating chamber. A control device controls a steam generating heater arranged inside the steam generating device and a vapor heating heater provided in a space through which an air stream flowing through the outer circulation passage is returned to the heating chamber, and forms a cooking sequence by using, singly or in combination, a first heating mode that uses superheated steam obtained as a result of the steam being heated with the vapor heating heater and a second heating mode that uses hot air or radiation heat obtained by making the vapor heating heater produce heat without supply of steam.
