A method, network node and wireless device for network guided wireless device (WD) cell reselection are disclosed. According to one aspect, a method includes obtaining an indication of a set of parameters of a plurality of sets of parameters, the parameters in a set including at least one index and at least one priority, the index used to configure the WD to select a frequency priority based at least in part on the index. The method further includes selecting one of a network slice, frequency and service, based at least in part on the index and included in the set of parameters.

Method for network-guided WD cell reselection

Systems and methods are disclosed herein for Control Resource Set (CORESET) enhancements for initial access. In one embodiment, a method performed by a wireless communication device comprises receiving and decoding a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) transmission in a CORESET in accordance with at least a portion of a Control Channel Element (CCE) to Resource Element Group (REG) mapping. The PDCCH transmission comprises one or more CCEs. The CCE to REG mapping comprises an interleaved portion that maps the one or more CCEs to a first set of REGs that are spread across a bandwidth of the CORESET, and a second portion that maps at least a portion of an additional CCE to at least a REG in a frequency gap between two REGs in the first set of REGs, the additional CCE corresponding to one of the CCEs mapped to the first set of REGs.

Embodiments herein relate to a method implemented by a wireless communication device. The wireless communication device transmits data to a radio node of a wireless communication network. The wireless communication device monitors for a positive acknowledgement or a negative acknowledgement of the data from the radio node. The wireless communication device retransmits the data to the radio node when said monitoring indicates reception of a negative acknowledgement of the data. The wireless communication device refrains from retransmitting the data to the radio node when said monitoring indicates reception of a positive acknowledgement of the data. The wireless communication device also refrains from retransmitting the data to the radio node when said monitoring indicates neither reception of a positive acknowledgement of the data nor reception of a negative acknowledgement of the data.

Systems, methods, and apparatus for handling communications relating to suspending a user equipment in a radio access network (RAN) are disclosed. An example method includes the user equipment receiving a radio resource control (RRC) release message from a network node. The user equipment determines that the RRC release message includes a suspend configuration field. The user equipment applies delta signalling corresponding to a suspend configuration indicated by the suspend configuration field and transitions to an inactive state.

A wireless communication device is configured for use in a wireless communication system. The device in this regard is configured to receive a command that commands the device to perform a link switch from a source link to a target link responsive to fulfillment of a condition. The command may indicate a target link configuration relative to a source link configuration. The device is also configured to store information from which the target link configuration indicated by the command is determinable irrespective of any change to the source link configuration occurring after receipt of the command. Methods, systems and network devices for operating a network node to provide dual connectivity in a handover of a user equipment, UE, in a new radio telecommunications system are provided. Methods include sending, from the network node and to a target secondary node, an addition request message to allocate resources for the UE in the handover. Operations include receiving an addition request acknowledgement message from the target secondary node. The addition request acknowledgement message includes a context indication regarding a full radio resource control, RRC, context or a delta RRC context. The delta RRC context includes data that is updated relative to data in a current UE context. Operations include determining, based on context indication, a type of RRC context to provide to the target secondary node.
