To prevent a burr, produced from the joint portion by welding between a liquid agent container and an injection unit, from interfering with a boring member inserted into a jig communication passage when the boring member is inserted into the jig communication passage to prevent the obstruction of the piercing action through a sealing member by the edge of the boring member. In the sealing pump-up device, a tubular inner annular memberis integrally formed on the inner peripheral side of a joined portionin an injection unitso as to surround, from an outer peripheral side, a boring memberheld in a jig insertion hole, and a burr housing unitconsisting of an almost cylindrical space is formed between the outer annular memberof a liquid containerand the tubular inner annular member, whereby it is possible to guide the tip end side of a burr, extending from the joint portion between the outer annular memberand a joined portiontoward the inner peripheral side, from moving toward the boring memberside of the burrby means of the tubular inner annular member

Sealing pump-up device

A sealing/pump-up device for tire that not only ensures the storability of sealing agent but also realizes rapid supply of sealing agent into a pneumatic tire. By insertion of insert part (A) of jig () in jig insertion aperture () of sealing device (), aluminum seal () is burst through by means of boring member () to thereby drive the same in the container. As the distal end of the insert part (A) locates in the vicinity of upper wall surface within liquid agent container (), a compressor unit is operated to thereby supply compressed air into the liquid agent container (). As the end portion of first passage () provided in the jig () lies in a position superior to the liquid surface of sealing agent (), the compressed air realizes rapid supply of the sealing agent () into a pneumatic tire without surfacing in the form of bubbles through the sealing agent ().

Sealing/pump-up device

Provided is a method of treating a sealing compound, in order to recover from the inside of a pneumatic tire the sealing compound that was used for repairing a puncture, the sealing compound including an aqueous solution having at least rubber latex dispersed therein, the method comprising: solid-liquid separating, by injecting a treating agent into the inside of a pneumatic tire into which the sealing compound was injected, the treating agent comprising at least one of a salt that is a reaction compound of an acid and a base and/or a water-soluble organic solvent, mixing the treating agent with the sealing compound inside the pneumatic tire, and aggregating and solidifying the rubber latex in the sealing compound.

Method of treating sealing compound and apparatus for treating the same

To reliably supply a predetermined amount of sealing agent into a pneumatic tire even if the device is inclined and after the predetermined amount of sealing agent is supplied, to automatically start feeding compressed air into the pneumatic tire. In pumping device, when compressed air is supplied to air chamber, internal pressure of air chamberincreases, and as the internal pressure of air chamberrises, a contained volume of air chamberincreases while a contained volume of liquid containerdecreases. Thus, sealing agentin an amount corresponding to the amount corresponding to the reduction in the contained volume of liquid container, is forcibly discharged from discharge outletand the discharged sealing agentis injected into tire. In pumping device, when the air chamberexpands enough to have a predetermined amount of sealing agent to be discharged from the liquid container, the air discharge openingopens toward the air chamberto allow the air chamberto communicate with the inside of tire. Thus, compressed air in the air chambercan be supplied into tirevia the air discharge outlet, bypass hoseand joint hose
