Provided is a cartridge receiving case including a case section in which a cartridge is inserted and disposed, a lid section configured to be opened and closed with respect to the case section and to cover the cartridge disposed in the case section upon closing, and a rear plate section configured to connect the case section and the lid section. The case section, the lid section, and the rear plate section are integrally formed. A pair of parallel thin hinges are formed as curved portions when the lid section is opened and closed with respect to the case section. One of the thin hinges is formed at a position deviated with respect to a continuous portion between the rear plate section and the case section. The other thin hinge is formed at a position deviated with respect to a continuous portion between the rear plate section and the lid section.

Cartridge receiving case

An optical information medium having an ink-accepting layer that may secure a high-gloss printed surface similar to print image quality of print image on photographic paper is provided. The optical disk is constituted by sequentially laminating concavo-convex information pits, a recording layer, a reflective layer, a protective layer, a second printing layer, and an ink-accepting layer on a transparent substrate made of synthetic resin such as polycarbonate. In the formation of the ink-accepting layer, the following proportions of the following constituents in percent by weight are milled to prepare an ink for printing: 5 to 15% urethane acrylate; 70 to 80% water-soluble monomer; 5 to 15% water-soluble monomer soluble resin; 5 to 15% photopolymerization initiator; 5 to 15% dyestuff fixing agent; and &#x3c;5% silica.

Optical information medium

An optical information medium having an ink-accepting layer that may secure a high-gloss printed surface similar to print image quality of print image on photographic paper is provided. The optical diskis constituted by sequentially laminating concavo-convex information pits, a recording layer, a reflective layer, a protective layer, a second printing layer, and an ink-accepting layeron a transparent substratemade of synthetic resin such as polycarbonate. In the formation of the ink-accepting layer, the following proportions of the following constituents in percent by weight are milled to prepare an ink for printing: 5 to 15% urethane acrylate; 70 to 80% water-soluble monomer; 5 to 15% water-soluble monomer soluble resin; 5 to 15% photopolymerization initiator; 5 to 15% dyestuff fixing agent; and &#x3c;5% silica.

A storage case is comprised of a case main body, a cover, a rotating means and a tilt means. The case main body has a bottom plate, the front plate, a back plate, a right plate and a left plate which are arranged so that the front, back, right and left plates surround four sides of the bottom plate. The cover is installed to the case main body so as to open and close an opening of the case main body. The rotating means swingably and slidably connects the cover with the case main body. The rotating means has a rotation shaft installed to the cover and a bearing portion installed to the case main body. The bearing portion is formed into an elongate groove extending in a vertical direction of the case main body. The front plate is tilted forward by the tilt means.

A disc cartridge can effectively prevent dirt particles from entering the cartridge main body and improve the reliability of the operation of signal recording/reproduction on the disc-shaped recording medium. The disc cartridge comprises a cartridge main body and a shutter member having an upper shutter section and a lower shutter section adapted to openably close the recording/reproduction opening and the drive opening arranged outside the cartridge main body . A shutter cover is arranged on the main surface of the cartridge main body to cover the area of displacement of the lower shutter section . The shutter cover is provided with an opening slightly smaller than the lower shutter section of the shutter member at a position corresponding to the recording/reproduction opening and the drive opening
