A vehicle seat adapted for use in a vehicle includes a seat rail device arranged to extend between the vehicle seat and a vehicle to mount the vehicle seat to the vehicle. The seat rail device includes a lower rail coupled to the floor of the vehicle in a fixed position, an upper rail coupled to the vehicle seat and configured to be adjustable along a longitudinal axis relative to the lower rail, and a sensor device configured to detect a least one longitudinal position of the upper rail relative to the lower rail.

A bearing device for supporting a pivot lever that is pivotable around a pivot axis (A), in particular for adjusting seats in motor vehicles, having a receptacle () with at least two sections () that are arranged at an angle to each other. The receptacle () has at least one recess () as well as one inner side, which is defined between the inner side of the first section () that faces away from the position of the pivot lever and the inner side of the second section () that faces toward the inner side of the first section (). The bearing device includes additionally a holding element (') that is connected to the receptacle (). The holding element (&#x2032;) is attached to the second section () with at least one connecting surface (&#x2032;) that faces the inner side of the second section ().
