A metal housing for an aerosol provision device is described and can include a printed circuit board mounted within the metal housing; a first contact spring providing an electrical connection between a first connection point on an inside of the metal housing and a ground connection of the printed circuit board; and a second contact spring providing an electrical connection between a second connection point on the inside surface of the metal housing and an antenna signal output for providing an antenna signal for transmission by the metal housing. The metal housing includes a radiating conductor element extending from a first surface element to a second surface element, wherein the first and second connection points are provided on the radiating conductor element and wherein a distance between the first and second surface elements is at least one quarter of a wavelength of the antenna signal transmission.

Aerosol provision device

A connector includes a plastic core having upper and lower receiving slots, upper and lower rows of terminal slots, and isolating plate slots provided at a central portion, two slide ways provided at two lateral inner sides, and a connecting head provided at a front end thereof; a plurality of terminals located in the terminal slots; a plurality of isolating plates located in the isolating plate slots; two first conductive plates located in the upper and lower receiving slots; an insertion element having two lateral ends slidably engaged with the slide ways on the plastic core, and having a central receiving slot for receiving a second conductive plate therein; and two outer covers enclosing the insertion element in the plastic core, and having two third conductive plates received in receiving recesses provided thereon to contact with the first conductive plates.

Connector

A connector includes a plastic body having a metal case put over an outer portion of a front end thereof, an insertion plate connected to a rear end of the plastic body, an interconnecting cable including two rows of conducting wires separately set onto upper rear and lower rear sides of the insertion plate, and two covering plates separately covered onto upper and lower sides of the insertion plate to hold the conducting wire of the interconnecting cable in place and then integrally connected to the insertion plate by way of high-frequency heat sealing. The plastic body, the insertion plate, and the covering plates are provided at predetermined positions with slots for receiving isolation plates therein, so that terminals inserted in the plastic body are individually surrounded by the isolation plates to eliminate mutual interference and therefore enable stable transmission of signals at high speed.

A connector includes an insulated base having a plurality of conductive terminals inserted onto a top thereof, and an insulated cover being structured to firmly hold a flat cable to the base. The base is provided at the top with a row of spacers to form a plurality of parallelly spaced slots, into which the conductive terminals are separately seated to partially expose from the top of the base. The flat cable is stripped at a predetermined section to expose a length of naked cores that are separately located in the spaced slots above the conductive terminals and are welded to the latter to provide increased contact areas between the terminals and the flat cable to ensure stable signal transmission at high speed. The spacers prevent the occurrence of short circuit during welding of the terminals to the naked cores of the flat cable.
