A dough dividing system is disclosed including a hopper for receiving dough and a divider assembly. The hopper includes a hopper inlet and a hopper outlet. The divider assembly includes a divider block having a divider block cavity, and a first actuator operable to move the divider block between a first position in which the divider block cavity is positioned under the hopper outlet, and a second position in the divider block cavity is positioned over a receptacle inlet. Dough enters the divider block cavity when the divider block cavity is in the first position and the dough is sheared as the divider block moves to the second position.

Active agent infused linear materials are provided with an infused surface that is infused with one or more dye molecules as well as methods of production. A method of forming an active agent infused linear material also as provided herein includes passing a substantially linear polymeric substrate through a linear substrate infusion chamber, and contacting the linear substrate with the liquid infusion solution at an infusion temperature and for an infusion time effective to infuse the one or more active molecules into or onto a surface of the linear substrate, thereby forming an active agent infused linear material. The liquid infusion solution includes one or more active molecules.

Continuous linear substrate infusion

A dough dividing system includes a hopper for receiving dough constituent including a hopper inlet and a hopper outlet, a divider assembly including a divider block including a divider block cavity, and a first actuator, and a receptacle including a receptacle inlet. The first actuator moves the divider block to align the divider block cavity with the hopper outlet, the dough constituent enters the divider block cavity when the divider block cavity is aligned with the hopper outlet, the divider block moves to shear a dough form from the dough constituent, and the divider block moves the dough form over the receptacle inlet such that the dough form can empty from the divider block cavity.

A method of forming an active agent infused linear material includes passing a substantially linear polymeric substrate through a linear substrate infusion chamber in a first direction, flowing a liquid infusion solution through the linear substrate infusion chamber in a second direction, and contacting the linear substrate with the liquid infusion solution at an infusion temperature and for an infusion time effective to infuse the one or more active molecules into or onto a surface of the linear substrate, thereby forming an active agent infused linear material. The liquid infusion solution includes one or more active molecules. The second direction is substantially opposite or substantially parallel to the first direction. A linear substrate infusion system and a polymeric linear substrate are also disclosed.

A polymeric linear substrate is provided with one or more active agents infused into the linear material to a depth less than the 100 micrometers, optionally where the polymeric linear substrate has a cross sectional dimension that does not exceed 2 centimeters. The polymeric material may include a polyamide, a polyester, polyvinylchloride, or polycarbonate. Also provided are systems for infusing a linear substrate with one or more active agents that includes a dye supply providing a dye; a process tank connected to the dye supply and providing a reservoir of a liquid infusion solution including the dye through the linear substrate infusion system; and a process chamber fluidly connected to the process tank for contacting the liquid infusion solution with a linear substrate effective to infuse the dye into a surface of the linear substrate.

Provided are apparatuses for the processing of one or more components of a fluid into the surface of a linear substrate. The apparatuses include a processing barrel having a chamber defined therein as well as a linear substrate inlet and a linear substrate outlet. The processing barrel also includes a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet in fluid communication with the chamber. An exposure gap is defined between the linear substrate inlet and the linear substrate outlet. The chamber is dimensionally reconfigurable so that the exposure gap can have a length from zero to greater than zero.

Process of decolorizing dyed thermoplastics are provided that includes intermixing a dyed thermoplastic with a decolorization agent solution at a temperature that maintains the crystalline structure of the thermoplastic. The processes for the first time are capable of removing substantial portions of dye from the thermoplastic providing a material that is suitable for recycling processes and use in subsequent recycled articles.

Removal of color from thermoplastics

Provided are apparatuses for the infusion of one or more additives into the surface of a linear substrate. The apparatuses include a processing barrel having an infusion chamber defined therein as well as a linear substrate inlet and a linear substrate outlet. The processing barrel also includes an infusion fluid inlet and an infusion solution outlet in fluid communication with the infusion chamber. The infusion chamber is dimensionally reconfigurable, optionally during an infusion process.

A dough preparing machine operable to mix and divide dough so as to form a plurality of individual loaves of bread in a relatively compact space is provided. The dough preparing machine includes a compressing and dividing device, a bowl, a pivotable mixing arm, a rounder, and a sheeter molder. The dough preparing machine further includes a transfer device having a first arm and an opposable gripper operable to handle the rounded individual balls of dough. The compressing and dividing device configured to press the dough uniformly within the bowl, and divide the compressed dough into individual balls of dough.

A dough preparing machine for preparing dough is provided. The dough preparing machine includes a dough batching system for assembling dry ingredients, a dough mixing device, and a dough compressing and dividing device. The dough preparing machine is operable to produce customizable and discrete loaves of dough for baking. The dough preparing machine gathers necessary ingredients for making dough, mixes the dough to a desired consistency, and divides the dough. The mixing device is configured to mix the dough in a bowl and transfer the dough to a container for compressing and dividing operations. The compressing and dividing device includes a first plate having a plurality of blocks and a second plate having a plurality of blades. The blades are configured to slide between the blocks after compressing operations and divide the dough.

Dough preparing machine

A machine and method operable to mass produce batches of dough in selectable, discrete and customizable batches and control the temperature of the dough under various environmental conditions is provided. The machine and method adjusts the temperature of the water introduced into a batch of dough in order to make a batch of dough having a predetermined temperature. Specifically, the machine includes a controller operable to adjust the temperature of the water based upon first law of thermodynamics to produce a batch of dough having a predetermined temperature. The machine includes a bowl for containing dough ingredients, a water source operable to selectively introduce water with the dough ingredients, a controller, and a water temperature controlling apparatus. The controller actuates the water temperature controlling apparatus to change the temperature of the water introduced into the bowl so as to form a batch of dough having a predetermined temperature.
