The personal electronic charging station is adapted for use in charging one or more personal data devices. The personal electronic charging station is adapted for use one or more electronic payment systems selected from the group consisting of credit card payment systems or a token based payment system. The personal electronic charging station is a switched charging station that distributes electric power to the personal data devices on a fee for service basis. Once the fee has been received through the electronic payment system, the personal electronic charging station will distribute electrical power for use in charging the one or more personal data devices. The personal electronic charging station comprises a cabinet, a charging circuit, and a control system.

The present invention relates to detection and alarm systems for predicting and detecting the location of spills, leaks, emissions, and/or pollution sources, i.e., unwanted fluid (liquid/gas) flow/escape, at refineries, e.g., oil and gas refineries, and plants, e.g., petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, and food processing plants, and avoiding said unwanted flow/escape. According to one embodiment, said system comprises at least one detector, at least one battery powered radio frequency transmitter, preferably, according to one embodiment, a 900 megahertz spread spectrum transmitter, and a central processing location which, according to one embodiment, is preferably capable of handling up to 3000 points in a single cell site.

A rupture disc status monitoring system is provided for a manufacturing process. An embodiment of the system comprises at least one section of enclosure material having a flow path for a given substance upon rupture of a rupture disc associated with a vessel containing a given substance in a manufacturing process. The section may have an integrated hollow node or port extending from one wall of the section into the flow path. In the case of the node, the node may have walls of the same thickness as the wall of the section of the enclosure surrounding the flow path. The system may further provide at least one detector located in the node or port to detect a parameter associated with a rupture disc.

The monitoring device includes (1) an enclosure with gaskets to seal the air space around the valve or between the members of the flange, and (2) an indicating cartridge installed contains material which will register a change if emissions leak into the enclosed air space.
