Disposable coaster

A quick connector coupling for a fluid line includes a hollow female connector body defining an interior radial bearing surface. A male member has a radially enlarged upset and is insertable into the connector body to a first position and withdrawable from the first position to a second position within the connector body. A retainer is disposed in the connector body and has retention beams extending between the upset and the bearing surface to secure the retainer and the male member in the connector body. A ring-shaped indicator member is detachably secured to one end of the connector body. Withdrawal of the male member from the first position to the second position causes detachment of the indicator member from the connector body and signals a proper coupling.

Connection verifier for a quick connector coupling

A quick connector coupling for forming a joint in a fluid line includes a hollow plastic connector body extending between a male member connection end and a hose connection end. A male member received in the connector body and has an enlarged annular upset. A retainer is associated with the connector body and secures the male member in the connector body. The retainer has one or two locking loops which extend beyond the male member connection end and encircle a portion of the upset to prevent withdrawl of the male member. The retainer may be attached to the interior or exterior of the connector body, and may be made of plastic or metal.

Fluid quick connector

A carrier for a wire harness and fuel brake, or other tubes of a vehicle with inner and outer channels each having a generally C-shape cross section and constructed to releasably snap together to form a duct in which the wire harness is received. Snap clips on the exterior of the channels releasably retain the tubes. The carrier bundles the wire harness and tubes together and provides a self-supporting assembly for the flexible wire harness which facilitates installation and assembly to the underbody of a vehicle.

A quick connector coupling for forming a joint in a fluid line includes a female connector body having a bore which receives a male member. A manually operable retention clip has legs which extend through slots formed in the connector body. The legs are positioned between an upset formed on the male member and the entrance to the bore to prevent removal of the male member from the connector body. Operating tabs formed on the retention clip are manually operable to spread the legs apart a distance sufficient to permit withdrawal of the male member from the connector body.

Manually operable release mechanism for quick connector

Clips for retaining tubes in a spaced apart relationship. Each clip has a body with generally U-shaped recesses in which the tubes are received and a retainer cover slidably received on the body and movable from an open position to a closed position overlying the recesses and retaining the tubes therein. The cover is releasably secured in the closed position by a latch and preferably releasably retained on the body by a detent.

Tube bundle clip

A corrosion resistant and low torque connector with a brake tube having a flange adjacent a flared end on which an O-ring is received and urged into a sealing engagement with a frusto-conical cavity of a female fitting by a complementarily threaded male fitting received over the tube and bearing on the flange.
