An approach for modification of a custom resource in an orchestration platform. One step provides a modification custom resource definition for updating one or more fields in a custom resource. Another step inserts a modification intermediary between a managing operator of the custom resource and an orchestration application programming interface (API) server including restarting a deployment of the managing operator to update pods of the deployment to connect to the modification intermediary when receiving a request for the custom resource. Another step intercepts, by the modification intermediary, requests for the custom resource between the operator and the orchestration API server and modifies the custom resource by applying an update to the request according to the modification custom resource whilst hiding the update from the operator.

A plurality of web pages in a web browser are presented to a user. One or more web pages of the plurality of web pages are navigated in the web browser by following at least one hyperlink. A browser history of the user is stored as a chronological list or recently presented web pages. A determination is made whether a dwell time of the user on a first web page has exceeded a threshold time. In response to determining that the dwell time exceeded the threshold, an of-user-interest tag is added to the first web page stored to the browsing history.

The usability of the application is improved by automatically changing the application based upon results of a comparison of the recorded at least one subsequent detected user interaction with the application after the help content was accessed with the at least one configured expected user interaction with the application to perform the instructions within the accessed help content reaching a threshold for modification of the application.

One example comprises identifying one or more elements within a user's virtual environment. Based on the descriptor of each of the one or more identified elements, the method then comprises controlling the provision of a warning to the user.

The method includes one or more processors identifying a first user performing a defined interaction on a computing device. The method further includes determining a location of the computing device during the defined interaction. The method further includes recording the determined location. The method further includes receiving a request for location information associated with the first user from a second user. The second user is authorized to access location information associated with the first user. In response to receiving the request from the second user, the method further includes determining a current location of the computing device. The method further includes generating a location status message corresponding to the first user based on the determined current location in relation to the recorded location.

A method and system for modifying virtual reality (VR) boundaries based on usage includes defining, using a virtual reality system including a computer communicating with head set, a safe area defining a geographic location for a user. The safe area is monitored for when the user strays into a second area beyond the safe area. The second area is defined in relation to the safe area that the user strayed into beyond the safe area. The user interaction in the second area beyond the safe area for safety is assessed, and a determination is made when the second area is safe based on a criteria. In response to the determining that the second area is safe, not initiating an alert to the user of being outside the safe area.

Method and system for displaying a virtual item in an augmented reality environment

Augmenting a video stream of an environment is provided, the environment containing a private entity to be augmented. Video of the environment is processed in accordance with an entity recognition process to identify the presence of at least part of an entity in the environment. It is determined whether the identified entity is to be augmented based on information relating to the identified entity and the private entity. Based on determining that the identified entity is to be augmented, the video stream is modified to replace at least a portion of the identified entity with a graphical element adapted to obscure the portion of the identified entity in the video stream. By modifying the video stream to obscure an entity, private or personal information in the environment may be prevented from being displayed to a viewer of the video stream.

A method is provided for controlling wireless connection of a device having a wireless communication interface to a wireless access point. The method includes: determining, by the device, if a known wireless access point is available by comparing a determined location of the device with geographical information associated with a set of known wireless access points; if the known wireless access point is available, determining, by the device, a time elapsed since a most recent data communication activity of the device; and disabling the wireless communication interface of the device if the time elapsed is less than an idle time threshold value so as to prevent wireless connection of the device to the known wireless access point.

Provided are techniques for parsing a pre-existing test script for a graphical user interface (GUI) to identify a first GUI action in a first line of the pre-existing test script; parsing a model associated with the GUI to identify GUI actions and associated elements for the GUI actions in the model; identifying a corresponding element for the first GUI action in a second line, following the first line, that are identified by keywords and associated parameters that exist in the pre-existing test script and match actions in the model; identifying GUI actions in the pre-existing test script that match GUI actions in the model; and generating a new test script by adding the first GUI action and corresponding element to the pre-existing test script.

Responsive to a determination that the rule applies to the task to be performed: a list of the plurality of versions of the message queuing software product is obtained, it is checked whether the software component of the one of the plurality of versions of the message queuing software product is available for use; and the most preferred version of the message queuing software component available is used to perform the task. Responsive to a determination that none of the rules apply to the task to be performed, the task is performed with the most preferred version of the message queuing software component.

Disclosed is a method for editing multimedia content, the multimedia content comprising a demonstration of actions performed in utilizing a computer application, the computer application having an 'undo' history, the method comprising the steps of: receiving an 'undo' history from the computer application; detecting an indication of an action being removed from the &#x201c;undo&#x201d; history; adding an end marker to a timeline associated with the multimedia content at a time corresponding to such detection; adding a start marker to said timeline at a time corresponding to the action which was removed from the &#x201c;undo&#x201d; history; and removing a portion of the multimedia content corresponding to that located between the start marker and the end marker.
