A server power rack latch lockout component. The server power rack latch lockout component includes an attachment portion, the attachment portion being configured to be mounted to a side of a server rack and an actuation portion, the actuation portion engaging with a rack ear of a server type information handling system when the server type information handling system is attached to a server rack.

A data processing system is provided. The data processing system may include hardware components that are adapted to provide computer implemented services and positioned in a chassis. The data processing system may also include a chassis. The chassis may include a ventilation portion and a functional portion. The ventilation portion may include ventilation holes to facilitate circulation of gasses through an interior of the chassis. The ventilation portion may also include cover elements positioned with the plurality of ventilation holes to at least partially cover the plurality of ventilation holes. The functional portion may include attachment elements to reversibly secure the functional portion to the ventilation portion and align a portion of the functional portion with the ventilation portion.

Information handling system bezel

Devices, systems, and methods for managing chassis of data processing systems are disclosed. The chassis may be managed by reversibly attaching them to structural members such as rails. When so attached, the chassis may be fixedly held in a position. To facilitate access to an interior of the chassis, the chassis may be detached from the structural member and moved to a maintenance position. To detach the chassis from the structural member, the chassis may include a latch assembly. The latch assembly may include features to inform and remind technicians or other persons of the existence, or lack thereof, of various lines connecting the chassis, and components positioned in the chassis, to other components.

Devices, systems, and methods for managing chassis of data processing systems are disclosed. The chassis may be managed by reversibly attaching them to structural members such as rails. When so attached, the chassis may be fixedly held in a position. To facilitate access to an interior of the chassis, the chassis may be detached from the structural member and moved to a maintenance position. To detach the chassis from the structural member, the chassis may include a latch. The latch may be positioned in an ear of the chassis and may be protected by a frame. The frame may include a recess, hole, or other feature to facilitate access to the latch. The access may allow application of force to a single portion of the latch to rotate or otherwise actuate the latch. Actuation of the latch may facilitate detachment of the chassis from the structural member.

A server information handling system is secured by a bezel that couples to an access location, such as an air vent at a front or rear face of a housing. The bezel includes a security structure having a lock and configured to couple directly at the front face or with a bezel extension at the rear face so that the server information handling system can use the same bezel with both a front face or rear face rack mount. The bezel has a lock integrated with the security structure, an air filter that fits over the security structure to filter air flowing into the housing, and a filter brace that captures the air filter by coupling to the security structure over the air filter. The filter brace attaches and detaches at the security structure when the security structure locks a server information handling system housing so that the air filter can be changed while the housing remains secure.

A method for performing an augmented reality location operation. The augmented reality location operation includes: attaching an augmented reality tape to a component, the augmented reality tape comprising a plurality of unique identifiers; identifying an augmented reality target via an augmented reality tracking method, the augmented reality target comprising the unique identifier of the augmented reality tape; and, generating an augmented reality projection to a location on the component based upon the identifying the augmented reality target.

The left side panel includes a left rail guide, and the right side panel includes a right rail guide. The block assembly is adapted to slide into the rack chassis and includes a top cover, a left sidewall, and a right sidewall that are interconnected. The left sidewall of the block assembly includes a left rail adapted to slide into the left rail guide when the block assembly is located leftmost of the rack chassis. The right sidewall of the block assembly includes a right rail that is adapted to slide into the right rail guide when the block assembly is located rightmost of the rack chassis.

An information handling system includes a compute device, a side cover, and a bezel. The side cover is placed in physical communication with the compute device. The side cover includes a mounting latch that rotates between an open position and a closed position. When in the closed position, the mounting latch securely mounts the compute device on a component. When bezel is placed in physical communication with the side cover, the bezel locks the mounting latch in the closed position.
