A mixer assembly is disclosed having a container with a closed sidewall, a closed bottom and a rim which forms an open top. The container is adapted to contain a product, such as roofing sealant, plaster or the like, to be mixed. A cover overlies the open top while a clamp detachably secures the cover to the container rim. A tubular conduit is attached to the cover so that the opposite ends of the conduit are open to the opposite sides of the cover. A stirrer assembly having a driven shaft and an agitator secured to one end of the shaft is then positioned within the container so that the agitator is solely contained within the container while the shaft extends exteriorly through the conduit and above the cover. A rotary drive, such as a drill, is then secured to the upper end of the shaft to rotatably drive the agitator and mix the product within the container.

Mixer assembly

A telephone answering system including a locally or remotely programmable voice synthesizer for transmitting messages is disclosed. The answering system is connected to a particular (local) telephone and is actuated in the usual manner by an incoming call to transmit a predetermined message. The message consists of a sequence of individual words, pauses, or other message segments which are stored in the synthesizer and transmitted in a desired sequence determined by pressing corresponding keys of either the phone to which the system is connected or any remote phone. As the operator of the system presses each key to program a desired message, the word or other message segment is immediately transmitted for the user to hear, thereby providing positive verification of entry. Changes or corrections may be made at any time to one or more individual message segments without the necessity of re-entering the entire message.

A transducer comprising a balanced bridge circuit having substantially similar pre-stressed force responsive components, force transmitting means for transmitting input force to a portion of the components and force relieving means for reducing the pre-stress on the remainder of the components in conjunction with the transmission of said input force, to effect a strong output signal of the transducer when an electrical potential is connected across the circuit.

Force transducer

A solid state thermostatic device having two programmable temperature control circuits, one of which, when energized, serves to maintain a comfort controlled region at a high temperature level and the other of which, when energized, serves to maintain the comfort controlled region at a lower level. Two clocks are contained within the device for recording real time and for generating an alarm signal when a set time stored in the clock is reached. The two alarm signals generated by the clocks electrically energize the control circuits to regulate the temperature in the comfort control region at the programmed levels during a selected period of time. A digital display is also provided for supplying a visual readout of selected system related parameters including the real time and the stored time contained in each clock and the temperature within the comfort controlled region both in degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit. The display also permits real time and alarm time to be accurately and conveniently set into the clocks.
