A personal protective equipment (PPE) rear opening isolation gown is provided that can be used by workers in the healthcare industry. The isolation gown is reusable and can provide for ease of doffing, such as in a pull forward manner that is consistent with how current users of disposable isolation gowns are accustomed to removing such gowns, without substantial risk of damaging (e.g., tearing) the gown and without substantial risk of the transfer of potentially harmful microorganisms, body fluids, and/or particulate material, to the neck or hair on the head or neck of a wearer. The reusable, rear opening isolation gown is provided with an easy release fastener(s) that provides a safe and secure hold when fastened but permits the gown to be removed easily, quickly, and more safely than other reusable options.

An adjustable height bed skirt is provided for covering a gap defined between a mattress of a bed and a floor surface upon which the bed sits. The bed skirt includes a decking panel with a plurality of fastening strips spaced-apart from one another and extending along the bottom edge and side edges of the decking panel. A skirt panel includes a fastening strip that can be removably coupled to one of the plurality of fastening strips on the decking panel to adjust a vertical drop height that the skirt panel covers as it extends along three sides of the bed. The skirt panel includes corner pleats and the decking panel includes bottom corner portions, each of which do not include the fastening strips. Additionally, color-coded indicia elements are applied to the fastening strips on the decking panel to assist with connecting the skirt panel in the desired position.

A top cover comprises a woven web of warp yarns and fill yarns, with a first plurality of the fill yarns (and/or the warp yarns) being non-spandex, non-core spun elastomeric yarns and a second plurality of the fill yarns (and/or the warp yarns) being non-elastomeric yarns whereby the top cover has a wash activated patterning so as to have a bulky look or texture after it is laundered, especially the first time it is laundered, which allows the top cover to serve as a top cover without the need for additional processing such as ironing or pressing.

A knee range of motion device utilizing tangential joint translation and distraction is disclosed. The device includes a carriage connected to a base, the carriage having a base attachment section; a thigh support section pivotally attached to the base attachment section; and a lower leg support section pivotally connected to the thigh support section. The device further including a carriage support extending between the thigh support section and the base, the carriage support pivotally connected to the thigh support section and adapted to slide in slots on the base; a first actuator connected to the lower leg support section to extend and retract the lower leg support section, thereby causing a foot support connected to the lower leg section to move; and a second actuator connected to the lower leg support section to raise and lower a calf support, causing an anterior and posterior tibial translation.

A simulated duvet cover system provides an easily-manufactured and assembled construction in which a cover layer, defined by top and bottom fabric sheets with pockets defined therebetween, is configured to be removably coupled to a separate fill layer, defined by a blanket or comforter. The bottom fabric sheet extends inwardly from the periphery of the top fabric sheet to surround a central opening, which the fill layer can be inserted through and then tucked into the pockets. A further backing layer may be connected to the cover layer with non-metallic and non-rigid fasteners such as fabric knot buttons, to cover the central opening. The system hides the appearance of the fill layer when in use, thereby providing a similar appearance to a conventional duvet cover, while still allowing for easy removal and cleaning of the system with industrial laundering equipment or the like.

A simulated duvet cover system provides an easily-assembled multi-layer construction in which first and second cover layers formed by fabric sheets are removably coupled to an intermediate layer defined by a blanket or comforter and sandwiched between the cover layers. Each of the first and second cover layers is separately coupled to the intermediate layer using respective first and second fastening elements, which may include snaps, hook and loop fasteners, magnets, and the like. The coupling may be limited to being at the corner portions and along one of four side/end edges of the layers to promote quick and easy removal of the cover layers when those require cleaning. The cover layers are sized such that portions of these cover layers overlie or cover up the fastening elements when the cover system is assembled on a bed, thereby providing a similar appearance to a conventional duvet cover.

Described is a controlled weight distribution woven terry fabric that includes a body having a first end and a second end, wherein the first and second ends are opposite one another and a first side edgeand a second side edge, wherein the first and second side edges are opposite one another and generally perpendicular to the first and second opposite ends. The terry fabric further includes a plurality of zones extending across the fabric between one of the first and second opposite ends or the first and second opposite edges. Each zone of the plurality of zones has a pile with a pile height and the pile height in a zone differs from the pile height in an adjacent zone and the difference between the pile heights in adjacent zones is in a range between about 0.1 mm and about 2 mm. Also described are articles, such as towels, wash cloths, and bath mats, made from the controlled weight distribution woven terry fabric.

A simulated platform bed panel system is designed for use with a bed system such as a bed frame adapted to support a mattress above a floor surface. The simulated platform bed panel system creates the appearance of a platform bed upon which the mattress appears to be supported and includes first and second generally rectangular side panels. The simulated platform bed panel system also includes a generally rectangular foot panel. Each of the panels has an exterior aspect having a decorative feature, and the panels are cooperable to be situated in a set defining a U-shape with the exterior aspects directed outwardly. The side panels define the legs and the foot panel defines the yoke of the U-shape. The panels may be rigid and/or may have top sides which are free relative to each other.

One embodiment of a fan assembly includes a housing having a base member and a lip member extending outwardly from the base member for defining an enclosure. The fan assembly may further include a toothed track assembly, a wheel assembly, a first motor, a second motor, and a fan member. The toothed track assembly includes a toothed track member disposed within the enclosure. The wheel assembly includes a pair of toothed wheels adapted to move on the toothed track member. The first motor is operatively coupled to the wheel assembly and is capable of rotating the pair of toothed wheels. The fan member is coupled to the wheel assembly, such that the fan member moves along the toothed track member when the first motor rotates the pair of toothed wheels on the toothed track member. The second motor is operatively coupled to the fan member for rotating the fan member.

Fan assembly

A bed sheet defined by a one-ply woven web of warp yarns and fill yarns having a top and a side panel depending from the top panel. The warp yarns extend in a warp direction through the top and side panel and the fill yarns extend in a fill direction through the top and the side panel. A plurality of fill yarns, warp yarns, or both are a non-spandex, non-core spun elastomeric yarn whereby the bed sheet is stretchable at least along the elastomeric yarns as a contoured bed sheet. In one example, the non-spandex, non-core spun elastomeric yarns are composed of elasterell-p.

A bedding top cover that defines a woven fabric that is ordinarily white or substantially white in color and has an alternate colored, textured, and/or patterned area or band purposefully located near the foot end of the bedding top cover and which is woven, via colored, textured, and/or patterned yarns, integrally with the top cover fabric. This simulated alternate colored, textured, and/or patterned area appears in many respects to be a bed scarf and serves the same aesthetic and protective functions of a separate piece of fabric. In one example, the simulated bed scarf is multicolored and the remainder of the bedding top cover is white.

A contoured woven bed sheet () includes a woven field () and side panels (), and triangular corner inserts () connecting adjacent side panels. The corner inserts are knitted of elastomeric () and non-elastomeric () yarns. The elastomeric yarns () make up about 5% to about 25% by weight of the corner insert () and may be Spandex, with the remainder being a non-elastomeric material such as polyester.

An adapter for holding a spiral bound booklet in a multiple ring notebook. The adapter comprises a flat carrier with holes to receive the notebook rings and supports an elongated rod which passes through the spirals of the spiral binding. End crowns are removable to allow removal of the elongated rod from the spirals.

An improved bookholder for use with a pole lamp comprising a book support having a back rest and pivotable ledges adapted to hold the book in a selectable orientation, an attachment at one end thereof to the bookholder, the arm being sufficiently flexible to be bent to a desired shape and sufficiently rigid to maintain the shape after it is bent, and a shade attached to the other end of the adjustable arm, whereby the shade may be adjusted with respect to the light source and a book on the book support. Preferably, the shade comprises light-attenuating vanes which may be folded up like a fan when not in use, or opened to any desired extent to change the size of the shade. The adjustable arm holding the shade may be bent or moved in a variety of directions to adjust the position of the shade with respect to the light source.
