A wipe article is provided for cleansing and providing gentle exfoliation. The article is a water-insoluble substrate laden with a fluid cosmetic composition that includes a skin benefit agent delivered in a carrier. The substrate is a woven or non-woven fibrous web with first and second major surfaces, at least one of the major surfaces having formed thereon an array of projections, the array including from at least 2 to about 20 projections per cm. Each projection is formed of a material different than that of the substrate and is raised from the substrate at a highest point thereof a distance from 100 to 2,000 micron. The projections are formed of at least 20 microbeads per projection.

An electrically operated toothbrush and method for cleaning teeth and stimulating gums is provided. The toothbrush includes a handle, a brushhead connected to the handle having a plurality of hollow filament bristles, passageways through the handle and brushhead for transporting fluid such as water into and through the hollow filament bristles, an electrical energy source in the handle and a vibratory element for imparting a pulsation to the fluid being transported.

A unitarily constructed toothbrush is provided including a head with bristles unitarily molded therewith, a handle and a neck, all being formed of an identical plastic material. Dispersed throughout the plastic material is at least one anti-microbial active compound such as a halogenated hydrocarbon, a quaternary ammonium salt or combinations thereof. Preferably the plastic material is a low density polyethylene. Toothbrushes of the present invention inhibit the growth of bacteria and other micro-organisms thereby avoiding the possibility of infecting oral gums.
