A hydromechanical wheelset control system for a rail vehicle that comprises a leading wheelset and a trailing wheelset that is arranged behind the leading wheelset in the direction of locomotion, with the trailing wheelset having the property of adopting a favorable position in an arc of an undercarriage frame interacting with it and of a rail pair. The wheelset control system is characterized in that a wheelset control is provided that is connected to the leading wheelset control system and to the trailing wheelset control system and that is adapted to hydraulically deflect the leading wheelset in dependence on a deflection of the trailing wheelset, preferably by the same amount as the trailing wheelset, but in the opposite direction.

The present disclosure relates to an actuator for controlling a wheelset of a rail vehicle comprising: an axle casing for fastening to an undercarriage or to a wheelset bearing housing of the rail vehicle; a synchronized cylinder that is provided in the axle casing and that comprises a piston surface that has a piston rod passing through the axle casing at each of its two areal sides; and a housing that is movable in accordance with a movement of the synchronized cylinder with respect to the axle casing, wherein a piston spring element that connects a respective piston rod to the housing is arranged at the end of the respective piston rod remote from the piston surface.

Actuator for controlling a wheelset of a rail vehicle

Disclosed is a vehicle, in particular rail vehicle, with a wagon body and an running gear on which the wagon body is supported, wherein the wagon body and the running gear define a vehicle longitudinal direction, a vehicle transverse direction and a vehicle height direction. A tilting mechanism is arranged between the wagon body and the running gear, which is designed to impose, during a transverse displacement in the vehicle transverse direction, upon the wagon body a rolling motion about a rolling axis parallel to the vehicle longitudinal direction. The tilting mechanism comprises a transverse decoupling device, which is designed to reduce the stiffness of the tilting mechanism against a pure transverse displacement of the wagon body with respect to the running gear. The invention furthermore relates to a corresponding tilting mechanism.

The invention relates to a rail vehicle, including a wagon body and a suspension system having a running gear supporting the wagon body. A sensor device and a control device are provided. The sensor device capturing an actual value of at least one status variable being representative of a spatial relationship between a first reference part of the sensor device associated to a part of the running gear and a second reference part of the sensor device associated to the wagon body. The control device performs a malfunction analysis using the actual value of the status variable, the malfunction analysis assessing fulfillment of at least one predetermined malfunction criterion. The control device provides a malfunction signal if the malfunction analysis reveals that the malfunction criterion is fulfilled.

Suspension failure detection in a rail vehicle

A measurement bearing includes a rotational axis and at least one first bearing ring. The first bearing ring defines a main supporting direction and a circumferential direction extending transversally with respect to the main supporting direction. The first bearing ring also has at least one first recess in which a sensor device is arranged. The sensor device is adapted to sense a sensing variable which represents the bearing forces which are applied to the first bearing ring. The first bearing ring further has at least one second recess, in which a further sensor device is arranged. The first recess and the second recess are arranged a distance apart in the circumferential direction and transversally to the circumferential direction.

Measurement bearing, in particular for a wheel set of a rail vehicle

A rail vehicle having a car body, which is supported on a running gear by a spring device, and a rolling compensation device, which is coupled to the running gear and the car body. The rolling compensation device may be arranged kinematically in parallel to the spring device. The rolling compensation device counteracts rolling motions of the car body toward the outside of the curve about a rolling axis during travel in curves. The rolling compensation device, in order to increase the tilting comfort, is designed to impose, in a first frequency range and under a first transverse deflection of the car body, upon the car body, a first rolling angle about the rolling axis, which corresponds to a current curvature of a current section of track being travelled.

The invention relates to a method for monitoring the state of vehicle chassis, particularly of rail vehicles, whereby physical quantities are measured on the chassis by means of sensors. The measured and optionally processed quantities are compared with modeled quantities by means of a processing unit. The modeled quantities are determined from specific quantities, a classification into classes of causes is performed on the basis of the comparison by means of one or the processing unit, and an evaluation is carried out based on the classification. The invention relates to a method for active radial control of the wheels () of at last one wheel unit () on a chassis, in particular a bogie on a tracked vehicle, whereby control movements are applied to the wheel unit () and an integrated regulation with control movements in at least two non-identical frequency ranges are carried out. First control movements in a first frequency range and second control movements in a second frequency range, different form the first frequency range are superimposed and applied to the wheel unit (). Method and device for active radial control of wheel pairs or wheel sets on vehicles

The invention relates to a running gear for rail vehicles, especially for passenger traffic, wherein a frame () is supported, by means of primary springs, on wheels or sets of wheels, and whereon a superstructure () is supported, optionally with insertion of a bolster (). The bolster () or the superstructure () is supported by means of secondary springs, in relation to the frame (), on at least one spring carrier (), the bolster () or the superstructure () is connected to the frame () by means of a shock absorber used to damp vertical and/or rolling movements, and the spring carrier () is suspended on the frame by means of pendulums (). The fixing points of the pendulums () on the running gear frame () are inwardly staggered, unlike vertically arranged pendulums, in such a way that the longitudinal axes of the pendulums () extend diagonally. At least one active control element () is at least partially arranged in the horizontal direction between the frame () and the spring carrier () or between the fame () and the bolster (), in such a way that it supports the effect of the centrifugal force and adjusts the incline to an optimum value.
